12:53 though it is completely new to me, I was able to completely understand without getting bored. For my recent thesis work related to atomic clocks and gps disciplined oscillators, i had to lock signals from various satellite constellations including GPS, Gallileo and GLONASS. It was extremely strange science and super complicated on how they even work in synchronised autonomous systems. I haven’t mentioned about NavIC because I am working from Europe. Atomic clock implementation was just 30% implementation of my thesis. Rest is all about security algorithms and software systems. Satellites are just deep rabbit holes if we start understanding them. Takes a lifetime and really should be building new satellites at that point.😊

Is it inspired by NASA's solar planes opening in space using origami techniques? Please make a video on this topic: We use Ramjet and Scramjet engines in our Bramhos missiles. So can we utilize them in our rocket propulsion and specially in Boosters and also make them reusable? So, we can increase the payload capacity. Although you have mentioned that the NGLV will collect oxygen during its flight through the atmosphere and will use it as the oxidizer for the liquid propulsion stage. But I was thinking if we somehow increase the payload capacity by reducing the amount of oxygen required; that's why I was thinking if we could use airbreathing propulsion systems like Ramjet and Scramjet?
Interesting question. As far as I know, Ramjet and Scramjet regime gets activated in supersonic regions (around Mach 3), so the vehicle should already be moving at that speed before switching to this propulsion technique. That’s why they are paired with tradition jet engine. For rockets, you have to mix fuel and oxidiser (for liquid propulsion) in a fixed ratio (not necessarily stoichiometric) all the way through. Also, Brahmos missiles can go to around 15km of altitude where the atmosphere is still significant for air-breathing propulsion (albeit at very high compression) while the rocket booster is going much higher. The unnecessary hardware complication to efficiently utilise oxygen from atmosphere for propulsion would eat into payload margin rather than saving it.
@OrangeDurito You are absolutely to the point, I thought of the same issue, but then I thought if we are using 4 boosters for PSLVs then may be 2 can use 2 solid propulsion and 2 scramjet propulsion boosters. And just exactly you have said the scramjet boosters can operate till 15 km. altitude if we give the initial thrust to reach to that supersonic speed range, using the same way as of Bramhos. Then we will achieve some more altitude due to the inertia and I specially mentioned this here because of this announcement by ISRO that the NGLV will be capable to collect oxygen during it's flight. So, Russia has this hypersonic missile name Kinzal and Zircon which have a max speed of nearly Mach 25-27; although the Bramhos has a max speed of Mach 8 till now, but if we can extend the capabilities to Mach 25-27, then the inertia we will get from the afterburn of the scramjet boosters will be significant to gain a well enough altitude only using inertia. Then the boosters will be separated and will come back for reuse, and our usual process of using liquid propulsion will start. But meanwhile we will get the required oxygen to use as the oxidizer for the liquid propulsion stage. So, in this way I was thinking if we can reduce some weight also; because we don't have to store the oxidizer from the very beginning. Although the complexity to control the phase changings and all will ve difficult to handle; but as we are moving towards a.i anyway we can utilize that in this as well to make the most of our missions automated and self-decision making. BTW, thanks for your kind response to my comment. It was really helpful. 👍
