Kitten's favorite food review: MeO, Matisse or Acana Pacifica?

Which kitten food brand do kittens love?
Is it:
1) MeO Ocean fish for kittens or
2) Matisse kitten food or
3) Acana Pacifica cat & kitten food?
Our cats love all the 3 brands of kitten food.
1) MeO Ocean fish for kitten is the most affordable food.
Rs 355 for 1.2 kg packet
Rs 840 for 2.8 kg packet
2) Matisse Kitten food has very small pellets.
Rs 300 for 400 gram packet
Rs 1040 for 1.5 kg packet
Rs 5500 for 10 kg packet
3) Acana Pacifica is expensive. It has a strong fishy smell and has 8 different varieties of fish such as herring, pilchard, flounder, cod oil, whiting meal, pollock oil, silver hake and redstripe rockfish.
Rs 400 for 400 gram packet
Rs 2100 for 1.8 kg packet
Rs 4800 for 5.4 kg packet
The other good brands I would recommend to feed your kittens are:
1) Royal Canin 36 dry kitten food
2) Royal Canin wet kitten gravy (heat the wet food to destroy any leftover bacteria and mix the wet food with boiled rice)
3) Whiskas Ocean fish for kittens
4) Orijen
5) Whiskas chicken/tuna in gravy - (heat the wet food to destroy any leftover bacteria and mix the wet food with boiled rice)
DO NOT feed your kittens with these foods as I had a bad experience with them:
1) MeO wet food for kittens - many packets are likely to be contaminated with bacteria which gave my kitten bloody diarrhea, fever, liver damage which eventually lead to her death if not treated on time.
2) Taste of the wild cat food - it has a bitter smell as it contains salmon and trout as the main ingredient. Some cats who have already been fed on a salmon diet will like it while some cats may not like it. If cats don't like it, then mix with regular cat food so that they eat up everything. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
Meo or whiskas has too Mady addictives and may be they would like them. It's like giving kids biscuits and dal chawal and seeing which one they would pick.

Yes, Matisse is a good brand for kittens. They get normal stools after feeding this food. Quality is always up to mark. Hence the saying - 'You get what you pay for'
Just feed Orijen dry food. It's excellent

I'm feeding Me-O cat food to my 8 months old kitten... Till now she isn't suffering from illness, diarrhea, vomiting... So is it okay to give it regularly to her..? 🙂
Actually cats like MeO Ocean fish dry food, it is economical. The only thing is some batches might be contaminated which causes vomiting in cats. Maybe 5-10 packets out of every 100 packets manufactured are contaminated. The moment your cats starts vomiting, then you must switch over to Matisse or Royan Canin kitten
i just bought Me O lets hope my stray cats might love it. later i used Whiskar. Thought i should make some change.
If you are on a budget, then MeO is not bad. There are some batches that cause vomiting in cats, I hope your cats are fine. Once they eat dry food, they need water to quench their thirst. So always keep a bowl of water ready. But please NEVER attempt to feed your cats with MeO 'wet' food pouch, they will fall sick with diarrhea.
Also, when switching over to a new brand, always buy the sample packet or any smaller packet. Check to see if your cats like the taste of the cat food. If they like it, then buy the bigger packet. If they don't like it, then at least your money is saved.
Don't blindly purchase new cat food products in the market however cheap it is available. Always look for their reviews on shopping websites. I had a very bad experience when I purchased 'Gata kitten food'. My kitten died within 10 hours after consuming that food as she suffered vomiting, shock and seizures. If I have to suggest to you which is the best in terms of quality and near affordable price, then Matisse is the best.
Even if you de-gut a mackerel fish or tuna and boil it in the pressure cooker with kolam rice for about 1-2 whistles, it is the best as long as the fish is not contaminated with pollutants.
@@NatashaPereira1991 My family is vegetarian, So no meat and fish, And its a stray cat, 2 sisters, They visit me everyday 2 to 3 times a day, so i thought to give them better food, So i can tame them, But they are smart, they doesn't allow me to touch, First cat food i used was Whiskar, and now me-o, i think they like Me-O, next i will.use Matise. Till now they are good, healthy. And i know how does it feel when they die.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Female cats tend to be more gentle and less aggressive. But they need to be operated on (sterilization surgery) so that they don't litter. Otherwise, they litter twice a year with 2-6 kittens during each birth. They need to be neutered if they are +7 months old. On the other hand, male cats tend to be more gentle too but can be aggressive and territorial. Sterilization is not required for male cats when they are young. But as they grow older (after 1-2 years old), they become aggressive and territorial, then sterilization is required so that they remain calm and less aggressive

me-o is not a good dry food for cats as it has additive cats like this food but this food ultimately damage their kidneys and it was seen that the cats use this food have kidney failure issues because of the food and this food is not recommended by vets

Even my kittens vomited when I fed the MeO kitten food. Certain batches of Me-O kitten food are likely to be staled or contaminated. Maybe for every 10 packets of MeO kitten manufactured, 2 packets will be contaminated which causes vomiting in kittens. I did a google search and I found that 'Healthy Pets' is a website. Could you tell me what specific brand of 'healthy pets' are you referring to? I would like to add that Royal Canin kitten 36 and Royal Canin Adult Fit 32 are really good cat foods as well, my cats go crazy for that food.
I too have faced problems when i fed meo to my cat (3 years old). She used to vomit immediately after eating. I currently feed her N&D Farmina and Arden Grange. Sometimes Royal Canin too.
@@kalpananayak9414 Farmina has a really good range of cat food. You must try 'Farmina Vetlife Gastrointestinal' which comes in a tin can. It contains chicken and fish. Mix it with boiled rice and your cat will go crazy. I have not yet tried N&D and Arden. When I purchase a new cat food product, I always purchase the smallest packet and check if my cats like it. If they like it, then I buy the bigger packet. If they don't, then money is saved

Farmina is any day better than royal canin. Try matisse or if you can afford try n&d

@@SRey-he2pr yes . N&d is completely grain free whereas matisse have grains. Also n&d cost around 2000, matisse cost around 1000 for 1.5 kgs. Initially try a sample pack of 300gms and check which your cat like most.
