Macy's seeking buyers for two stores in Northern Kentucky mall

A sales brochure, circulated recently by the commercial real estate firm Lee & Associates, seeks $8 million for Macy’s 15-acre department store property and $5 million for its 7.5 acre furniture store at Florence Mall.

From the sky view, there's no one walking or living near the mall. People have to drive a car, to specifically come shop there. Amazon has been selling brand new $8 pants and $8 flannel shirts. Tough competition.

They can sell it and then just pay rent to the new owner and keep the stores open. So not a big deal …
