Missy is so great live. I enjoy her studio recordings, but she brings an extra energy and emotion to her concert performances that makes them especially satisfying.

AND BRILLIANTS MUSIC SUPERVISORS... the guys that put great songs in tv shows like grey's anatomy, gossip girl, privileged... or in this case... smallville... i dont watch smallville but a friend does... and she heard "where i stood" there and actually it is in an ep. from grey's anatomy too... so TV is great!! cuz... guess what? I'M FROM VENEZUELA!! LATIN AMERICA!! pretty far from australia!! at least 2 fans here!! SHE'S AWESOME!! aussie ppl are great!!
This is one of the best songs she ever put out. Didn't seem to get the same traction as some of the others. Very underrated! I've seen her play many times and never heard her play this live.

p.s. i don't think it's post 2006 -- it's definately pre 2005, because that's when her hair was so short, for the sound of white, you can see in the "scar" and "special two" videos, and on the album cover. this was probably 2004.
I really don't think her sexual orientation has anything to do with this. And if I recall correctly, she has said she fits into the category of 'bi', not 'lesbian'.
