Firstly ... I love fractions, but sometimes they can be annoying. Option 1: If you want to temporarily over-ride this feature, include a decimal place in any numerical value in the calculations. (Assuming calculation mode is set to 'automatic' Option 2: Press Control followed by Enter (notice the approximately equal sign above the enter key) Option 3: You really don't like fractions ... Press HOME > (5) Settings > (2) Document Settings > change calculation mode to approximate. The default answer will now be set to decimals rather than fractions.
I bought a Casio for around $110 at Walmart and it's worse than the calculators I used in 9th grade (I'm 26). I bought it for Trig and it can't do many of the advanced Trig functions. Needless to say, I should have known not to buy something other than a TI and I will be trying to purchase this one today!

Why would anyone still be using these old style calculators--why not use online ones????
