    You and your sister are so good at boiling down the true needs. I love your general philosophy on which things are black and white and which ones aren't.
    P.s. that was me that mentioned the posture highchair thing. THANK YOU for informing people on the options!

    I have two lillebaby carriers and it’s similar to ergo. It’s been a life saver for me when I had a baby with colic because she had to be held or would scream and cry... it saved my sanity! I used the flour sack towels too! For all kinds of things too (light blanket, cloth diaper, I would even use them in the bath water to keep one on baby so he or she would have a warm wet blanket on them to keep them calm and happy while I worked on washing them! ! Every time you talk I say “this lady is so much like me!” In our health ideas and such! I love the brand of the ointment.. I use it for the baby wash that has the frankincense in it! I’m totally minimalist in a sense and especially with baby stuff as it can get CRAZY!
    I hate my high chair as it has so many crevices for food to drop in. I don’t know why they make the high chairs so crazy! Lol I like the simplicity of yours.

    Love these suggestions! My son is about to turn 6 months and I have been looking for a new carrier- might have to give that ergobabg one a shot!

    I bought that carrier brand on black Friday! Half off! I'm so excited to use it next year!

    I bought some flour sack towels to go in our cloth diapers but ended up having more than I needed so I used them for all sorts of things. Yesterday I used one to strain the broth I made in the instant pot. I used to use the cheap prefolds from walmart for burp cloths but I like the flour sack towels even better.
    I just bought 2 of those ikea highchairs for my boys for Christmas. I got it without the tray for $14 each bc they can eat at the table with us.

    Excellent and wise video! Is the cream cloth diaper friendly?

    Thanks for sharing. I ordered a solly to try for the newborn stage, but if that doesn’t work I’ll definitely keep this in mind!! I’ve never been able to use ring slings because they pull too much on one shoulder.

      A lot of people love the Solly, it’s a great wrap!!! (I have one too 😊)

      ASHLEIGH NICOLE WILSON thats actually the reason I got one! I remembered when you were having ruby last year and you got the deep red color! Do you prefer the embrace over the solly or just see different uses for them?

    I got the flour sack towels over a year ago based on one of your baby videos, for burp cloths. The twins are 1 now and we still use them to clean them up and wipe up messes because toddlers are messy 🤣

      I’ve used their hair products before, I use the detangler for Hazels curly crazy hair! I’ll have to look for the coffee scrub...anything coffee gets my attention lol

      ASHLEIGH NICOLE WILSON I’ll warn you, it’s messy! Lol but totally worth it. I just take a plastic cup in the shower with me to rinse the sides and shower curtain. :)

    Have you, by any chance, used the Tula Free-to-Grow? If so, how does it compare? Expecting baby No 4 and wonder if I should switch to the Ergobaby Embrace...

    • @ashleighnicolewilson
      @ashleighnicolewilson  4 роки тому +1

      I haven’t. The free to grow will work from birth through toddlerhood I believe. The Embrace is specifically for newborns/infants. It’s soft and snug slightly stretchy. 💕

    I love my 9 year old ergo lol burbs might splurge for the newborn one, I get so irritated with having to wrestle wraps. Just found out I'm expecting for the 6th time! (4earthside) :)

    I started motherhood with an ergo... A knock off that I got in a co-op group on Facebook. Then got a tula after a year and a half of child #2.. hated the tula for skinny baby #3 (he's probably not much over the weight limit of this and will be 3 in April 😂)... Sold it and bought a second hand ergo for baby #4. The ergo embrace looks awesome for the early baby stages! Maybe next time, though my husband says we're "done" whatever that means 😂

    What do you use instead of dryer sheets then? If they are bad then I'd like to find an alternative :)

    • @ashleighnicolewilson
      @ashleighnicolewilson  4 роки тому +3

      Wool dryer balls!!! You can scent them with essential oils if you’d like, but they will cut down dry time and static without the toxins and fire risk!!

    My babies lived in footed sleepers and rompers for the first 6 months, onesies and pants were inconvenient for us but like you said, all depends on circumstance 😊

      My need to have constant access to precious baby toes means I’m not a big fan of built in feet 🤣🤣🤣
