People don’t realize a mace was a good choice for a weapon back in the medieval ages. Your enemies were typically covered in armor so bladed weapons typically didn’t do shit, but blunt weapons would cave the armor in. The might not get cut but they’ll definitely feel the impact. Hell if you hit em hard enough you can crush the chest armor and break the ribs. Or cave in their skull if you get a good swing
