Hey guys i have question please answer. If I choose DGFS do i need to write gate and uptain good gate score to join the IIT or BARC provide selected seats in IIT for DGFS
Sir i am not able to login to account after submitting application form. Its showing invalid e mail id. After giving complain its also showing invalid phone number also. My application is also success fully submitted. What is this issue?
You apply for DGFS after joining only dear. The moment you clear interview you get OCES by default, after that subjected to the various conditions you can convert OCES into DGFS. These conditions are like IIT-B/IIT-M, predefined specialization, approval from DAE & number of trainees applying for DGFS. You will get DGFS only if you get DGFS institutes which are IIT-B & IIT-M.
For getting the SELECTION INTERVIEW call, giving GATE is not compulsory, if you clear the cut-off of BARC online exam you will get the call. But it is always advisable to prepare for GATE, write both GATE & BARC online exam.

Sir, What if someone got an offer from a PSU later while in Mtech. program then it that case can he/she leave the Mtech?? And do that person need to return the stipend received from BARC, if he/she leave the Mtech course in between after receiving stipend for couple of months? Pls clarify
Can leave in between but there will be PENALTY dear. Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement and a Personal Indemnity Bond to serve DAE for at least three years after completion of Training. Indemnity Bond would consist of stipend, tuition fees paid to DGFS institute and contingency grant along with additional funding up to a sum of ₹ 4,00,000 under the BRNS Fast Track Project scheme to purchase equipment/consumables deemed necessary for completion of M.Tech. project, as per actual paid.
You need to secure independently dear. IIT-B & IIT-M are only two allowed DGFS institutes. You need to secure the M.Tech seat in IIT-B/IIT-M with pre decided specializations. The good thing is most of the good specializations are included.

Yes dear you need to write GATE & secure the M.Tech admission INDEPENDENTLY to convert OCES into DGFS.

By default after cracking selection interview you get OCES. OCES will convert into DGFS after final result.
