I'm so happy to have ATR back, it seems like Jason really injected some of their old school vibe back into it, both this and Divine are bangers, but different enough from each other that it sounds like you're not just listening to the same stuff multiple times. Very excited for the album

I knew there was something familiar about the melody, the first few notes of the chorus are very similar to Ashes To New - Barely Breathing chorus

Absolutely agree about the nails, mate. To me long fake nails are disguisting. Same as fake (pumped) lips where you can't tell emotions anymore on a person's face.

Best and most influential albums are; The Fall Of Ideals, Overcome and For We Are Many. All their albums are good tho so you cant go wrong. Underrated imo are This Darkened Heart and Order of Things

@@TheKyokushinMasterthey don't play it due to the first two albums having the least contributions from current members. And I don't just mean the obvious ones.
For them, and their debut is very similar, it's like covering another band's material.
That, and they're in their late 30s to early 50s, so playing those songs is representative of people they aren't anymore.
It's just a fact of life.
Bands that drank a bunch and did drugs in their 20s then wrote songs about it probably won't revisit that material when they're sober 20-25 years later.
It's a reminder of who they aren't anymore.
I'm going to say something that will piss off a lot of metal fans but.. nostalgia bias is what separates fans from artists. ACDC, my least favorite band, is purely fan service. They made one album that people liked and spent a career trying to replicate that.
And if fans want something like that from a band like this, I'd recommend you stop listening now, because it will never happen again.
@nolankuffner3573 fair points. But like one or 2 songs sometimes would be cool. And now with the bassist that left right after This Darkened Heart back there are 2 members from that era. Would be a cool thing to do thats all
