One day at lBHS my 9th grade class of 2017 2019 2018 year of school I was sitting with brooks my whole entire friend group I was switching over from the early table I was sitting at my friends Sabrina Aaron Poe table moved tables
I get my adult kids up for work as one is up at 4am and one is up at 5.15am they both go to work. Then the last one is up at 9am as she works from home as a ghost writer

I am up by 5:20am and wake up my 7yr old at 5:30am. Leave the house by 6am and take her to my sister so she can take her to school while I head to work. First year doing this🥴🥴

It’s nice that the kids are big enough to make their own lunches now. I use to make mine the night before cause I was always running late in the morning.
I’m the director of a before and after school program. COVID has definitely changed things. We were open all last year. We had to have our kids sit 6 feet apart, not share toys and clean toys in between kids playing with them. This year we are relaxing on some things. Our district is still making kids wear masks but kids can now play together and we only have to clean toys at the end of the day. I am glad about that and hoping once our kids can get vaccinated that we will be able to stop wearing masks. We will just have to see. Whatever we have to do to stay safe though I am all for it.
Awesome that Elijah and Emberlynn walk to school, I was close enough to walk to school until 8th grade - winter in Ohio was a bit less exciting though.

at least the schools are in walking distance i was able to wal elementary and jr high took bus to high school depending on the weather i would walk home
I actually just woke up right now it’s 5:06 I woke up a couple minutes ago for school so I could have 2 hours before school so I have about 45 minutes to wake up 😂 but it is the first day of school for me today so… the 5:00 A.M. probably won’t last long but at least I know I can wake up when I finally fall asleep at 11:00 o’clock at night that’s not that late but I’m 12 on a school night 🤣😁❤️

When my husband works days I'm up at 4am to get his clothes layed out and his lunch made while he takes a shower and gets ready ... then when he leaves I go back to bed till about 10am ...

There were very few restrictions when I went to school especially around lunch time. I am done with school forever at this point in time so I am just doing my own thing. I tried college after I graduated from my second High School in May 2006. I did try going to a community college from Fall 2006 to Spring 2008 it didn't work for me even though I tried.

I am not a morning person and have been known to be pretty grumpy if you talk to me too early! The only thing I’m doing at 5 am is flipping to the cool side of the pillow 🤣
It depends upon the time zone I am in because I am in Eastern for my current vacation. I have been getting up at around 7:30 8am maybe a little easier. I would not be surprised if the way lunch and recess is going to be that way for the entire school year. The time frame I have been waking up in is extremely early for me.

That’s the middle of the night where I come from🥱 kids especially teens need more sleep and it’s been proven scientifically. Why have religious classes at that unearthly hour in the morning. I went to a church school and we started at 915 am which included religious teaching everyday. They look exhausted especially Ethan.
I've never been a morning person. I sleep until the last minute so I'm not late for work.

You guys start school so early, here in Australia we don’t have middle school, we have primary school kindergarten to year 6 and high school year 7-12 both our school start at 9 primary finishes at 3.10 and high school 3.18

Ethan gets up at 4:50am has school, comes home and then goes back for a two hour soccer practice. Some days he has soccer practice and then a game. He is tired getting used to this new schedule. He also yawns 🥱 out of shyness with the camera.

I get up around 5 to make my husband's coffee and talk to him until he goes to work, then me and our furbabies go back to bed . I don't sleep well at night because our neighbors dogs bark all night and that makes our dogs antsy plus they go potty outside like every 2 hours but after we send my husband to work we all crash hard for about 4 hours then get up and do it all over again lol.
Our kids are all grown and have grown children as well as school age children of their own. That being said, we were still in bed when you were up and gratefully so.
