This is so different from her later creations, it was almost shocking to me. Like, if you compare this to Opheliac or I Know Where You Sleep.... It really is amazing how she can do such different things, and yet have all of it be so distinctively Emilie Autumn.
I admit, I've known about Ms. Autumn for a while now and still haven't heard all of her songs. I don't know why. She has remarkable talent in all of her work. I'm always mystified by each song I hear. Maybe I don't want to waste that first time hearing her. Because my word, listening to her is truly astounding.
The lyrics are deep, i love how good poet she is, since her first song pointed to things of the soul, from bottom to top, from existencial issues to real life fights, Emilie Autumn May not be the Best, but is My Best💞
Like number 700. I love the mysticism of this song. That and it's time score allow it to work really well with either meditation or certain music based spells such as astral spirit summoning.
Silver skies, dotted cotton clouds, flickering sunlight, horizon ahead meeting brown earth to air that is invisible, but looks blue due to a chemical composition of particles composing of the components of air above which we name the sky, that feels free, expansive and forever..sky lifts moods higher..sky:))
This song reminds me of an idea for a story about a couple and parallel worlds. One of the lovers passes away and the person left alone ventures into another world to find that world's version of her partner because she can't live without him. The other world version of her partner is suffering and sad in his life and feels something is missing and his emotions allow her to cross over into the parallel world and meet him.
*Falls asleep to this dreaming of endless hills, purple skies, and white butterflies*
Alexandra Rain What a pretty thing to write :)
+Helen Zee Melon Thank you
I used to listen to this when I was younger and I remember it and I have so much nostalgia

music of my life.. thank you..
Why do I feel a sense of chaos from these lyrics? Like chaos itself is the speaker.
SeraphimDragon Emilie has said that "art" is the speaker of this song. The artistic mind IS a very chaotic one.
SeraphimDragon Emilie have manic depression. She is know all about chaos because of it.
