    This woman....god. Can't make any desicions. Planned on leaving him anyway once he woke up, then blamed the doctors for attempting to save his life. When things went wrong she blamed everyone but herself. "How am I suppose to live with myself?!" Have fun with that, lady!

      Oh for heaven’s sake… cheating is a scummy thing to do, absolutely… but even though it’s just acting, even I can tell that she said what she said out of shock!
      I think anyone who is waiting for a medical outcome is going to hope for, pray for and expect the best outcome… so when they’re told the person didn’t make it, the shock reaction is to blame the person in front of them because they didn’t get the outcome they desired!
      Think about it - this woman wasn’t even involved in the surgery! She’s merely the messenger.
      It makes no sense to blame her or any other doctor, but Lucy is not thinking clearly, not using her rational brain. Not in the moment she’s just been told that her ex husband died.

      She's the one who literally said that she told him that she loved him, but didn't mean it at all...
      She also said that *he* was the one who reached back out and said he forgave her because he still loves her and wanted to make it work.

      Yeah, right in the middle of the clip at 4:40 - She admits to cheating on him (she said that they hadn't been together in 5mos) and that when they met up that day, he forgave her and still loves her, but that she didn't say it back. She also goes on to say that when she told him that she loved him while in the hospital bed, that it was a lie and she really didn't love him.

    The nerve and entitlement of this woman. First of all, she didn't say the surgery would save him- she literally said too soon to tell. Second of all, before she cheated on him she should've considered what she could and couldn't live with. Third of all, she walked away and they had to do what they thought was possible without her input. This is all on her, not the doctors. I have zero sympathy or mercy for cheaters.

    This is probably a realistic scenario. What people fail to realize these days is love for a spouse is work. It doesn't come naturally. Period. When we are young our hormones are crazy. We feel crazy bliss when with our first loves. After that. The worlds reality's rear their ugly head and our hormones simmer down. Maybe I am being cynical but this woman will never choose to be with man forever. Until she is older and has no more options. The same could be said for some men.
    Disney channel crap isn't real.

    What a misleading title! She didn’t choose not to save him. She was thrown into an overwhelming life or death situation and was told she needed to make life or death medical decisions for someone she was no longer with. She’s not a doctor and even if they explain everything to her, that’s a lot and I don’t blame her for not wanting to make such a huge decision. If they couldn’t find his next of kin, they would’ve done whatever they thought was the best choice anyways, so why do that to her in the first place?

  • @MihaelLawliet01

    Not defending her, but I really doubt they could have saved him anyways. He and her had been apart for 5 months she said so why would she have any idea what medications he was on? It never should have been up to her, but apparently they hadn't divorced yet. God, she's awful, but I really don't think anything she did could have saved him. If he were on blood thinners it should have been in his medical records. Heck, my doctors still think I'm on meds I haven't taken in years because those records. This is written so poorly it's almost embarrassing. There's no reason they shouldn't have been able to find out what his medications were.

    • @MihaelLawliet01
      @MihaelLawliet01 Рік тому

      @@boundedscythe7726 I'm not sure that would be something she "should" know. My parents have taken meds while I grew up in their house and I still couldn't tell you everything they've been on or were currently taking. My fiance is on meds and I only know what for not the name of it and that's only because we talked about it. There would be no reason for him to tell her about blood thinners. Why would she need to know he's on them? Why bother telling her? People don't just assume they're going to end up in the hospital randomly. They don't tell their significant others every little thing "just in case" something happens. You know what meds everyone in your life is on? And if you say yes, are you 100% positive you know what ALL they're taking? Even if it's something irrelevant like allergy meds, heartburn meds, etc.

    • @boundedscythe7726
      @boundedscythe7726 Рік тому +1

      @@MihaelLawliet01 tldr that completely different there your parents not your spouse, you should always be familiar with your spouse's blood type medicine and allergies, it's incredibly common for a spouse to be questioned like that during a hospital visit and they normally know it although this one was just incompetent.

    • @MihaelLawliet01
      @MihaelLawliet01 Рік тому

      @@boundedscythe7726 It really isn't. Most adults can and do handle their medical issues on their own. It's just weird to constantly have your SO with you every time you go to the doctors. There really is no reason for anyone to tell their SO about blood pressure meds either. 95% of the time it's never relevant for them to know. This is the one time I've ever seen it actually cost a man his life in all the TV shows regarding medical stuff that I've ever seen. And EVEN IF you can name a couple other episodes that's still like less than a percent of medical shows where it's been relevant to know about a patient's Blood Pressure meds. Also, again, the hospital should have access to that knowledge. It would 100% be in his medical records. It's still the fault of the hospital.

    • @donikamorris2860
      @donikamorris2860 Рік тому +2

      I work in a hospital, my main job is to question patients on what medications they take and how they take them. There are other ways outside of talking to patients to get this information (calling their family doctor, previous hospital visits, contacting the pharmacy they go to, speaking to family members) but that information is not 100% accurate. As you say, adults don’t usually share their medical issues with others, hospitals don’t always have access to other medical records outside of their care network. And if the patient is incapacitated in any way, it makes our job harder to do and harder to treat the patient accordingly. This situation does happen, not always as severe but it does happen. And the staff are making the best decisions with the information they have on hand. You never know when an accident will happen (as experienced in this scenario), so I urge you to change your stance. Talk to the people in you life about your medical history and theirs, communicate to you doctor what medications you are and are not taking. If something happens to you, you don’t want to be in this situation.
