For over 20 years I struggled with addiction the day I cried out to God and asked Jesus Christ for help to keep me clean that was six years ago I still struggle with cigarettes but I look at it one thing at a time my life story should be written out as a movie shot in the head at 14 my parents were abusive beat me black and blue overdose three times wow if I was to write a book I would have to give all the glory to Jesus Christ because it wasn't for him I don't think I would be here today if it wasn't for Jesus I don't think it would be clean for as long as I have it's because of God and the more more I learn the more and more I want to learn if you understand what I mean

I understand. I, too, am delivered from drugs and alcohol. I pray our Father increase His Spirit within you me, our families and those who we will share the Seed of Christ with. I pray He delivers us both, from cigarettes. God bless you. In Jesus' name, Amen

@UA-cam WATCHER he's American, but he and his family have lived in zambia for the last 5 or so years. He is dean of seminary at the african christian university. He is in the u.s. often for biblical conferences and such.

@@speedoggy There was and is only one Author of Scripture, God. The writers of His words were only scribes, 2 Tim 3:16. The Greek word theopneustos which is translated inspired means God breathed or breathed-out by God.
You quote 1 John 2 :6 - "He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked." as if John was telling what clothes to wear which comes just after John tells us to keep His commandments, not the Pharisees wardrobe.
You take everything out of context to make it fit 'your' bible and the accuse others of not reading The Bible.

Paul knew the Pharisees Law & The Mosaic Law & The Torah of the Most High so when the translation is translated all the same will make a mess of His writings hard to understand. Paul taught & believed all The Torah & The Prophets (Acts 24:14; 28:23-24)

II Timothy - I was lead to II Timothy days ago when i was awakeed early in the night and reflecting on my life , purpose and adictions of sin - not drugs but of everyday so called legal addictions as cigarettes, fear, rage & anger , disease , ect
I was lead , i believe, to
II Timothy - there I found my answers and hope in Jesus , a renewed strength !
This was put in my heart to listen and read this book as a challenge to myself for 30 dqys of at least 2 times aday to read and listen to & ponder thru the day these verses and meanings.
I came across your sermon not by happenchance but by the Holy Spirit . So I thank God for you serving God in humbleness & truth !
God is so faithful, and it is my new prayer that for me and for the church to selfreflect and align our lives in accordance with God's will and heart !

When he was reading the part that said always learning, and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth….TD Jakes saying his thinking on homosexuality is evolved and evolving, that is what immediately popped in my mind.
Psalms 73 is the best ever!!! I never would have looked. So encouraging in this world where we want to be humble, modest, selfless, while surrounded by a society that will do anything to get what they want, even hurt others. How many times I have looked at a Godless person, watch them get the promotion, watch their band become popular, look at all the friends and cool things they have....and felt sad, discouraged. I'm a sinner, but I want and try to follow Jesus. I have next to zero friends, every band has fallen apart, I'm still just a worker, drive a 2000 Chevy, but I seek HIS glory, HIS kingdom, HIS everything. It's all HIM the author of my salvation, the author of my life. He bought me, I'm HIS. I can't find the words right now.
There are no words to praise HIM at the heights HE deserves.
Switch that number round and look at that psalm too - preferably the first few verses

Ps 73 is very moving, especially v 4 - “there are no bands in their death” - the wicked not only have easy lives but easy deaths - a charmed existence, or so it seems.
❤Every Christian needs to be reading, meditating upon, and studying God's Word for ourselves. We need to be like the Bereans in the book of Acts. "Acts 17:11 NLT: And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth." God, I ask You in Jesus' name bless me, all those I love, and the writer of this prayer to come to Know You in Truth, Love You, Understand You, and make You known. God Use Each of Us For Your Glory. Amen.

We just pray pray and pray. Those fighting Christianity is loosing because they will continue to fight a war they cannot win. The truth of the matter is they use Christianity to gain what they want in life at the same time rejecting the true teaching of Christianity. One cannot eat his/her cake at the same time have it bavk. Therefore let us continue to pray and live our lives the way Jesus Christ taught us because Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the light. Salvation has been, was always, and only will be by the blood of Jesus. All scripture points to the cross. Paul preached from the OT Christ and him alone because that is what the OT teaches.

The only way any human that has ever existed can be forgiven and get to heaven is by what Jesus Christ did on the cross, (His Shed Blood as payment for all sins forever) . Dispensations are how God chooses to bring different groups of people throughout time to salvation ,some by Faith alone,some by Faith plus works, some by works alone according to scripture.Amen , thank God for His Shed Blood.

( the world never loved God) having an appearance of godliness but denying its power . ( religious people living without The Holy Spirit, living for themselves rather than for God.) 2 Timothy 3.
