It’s so compact! Definitely looks good for daily journaling. I think I want to get this for next year to do daily note taking or memory keeping! Thank you for showing ☺️☺️ the small portable size is so cute! Yet it still looks like a decent amount of space to write but not overwhelming, like you said! Also LOL “Nathan Chen on ice”
I think you might enjoy writing or putting some printed photos/collages in it! It’s small so it doesn’t take look to fill up. I got over the ghosting aspect of it and now I love it!
“It almost feels like Bible paper.” I never thought of that, but you are so right! I’ve been using this planner for about 4 years and it continues to be one of my all-time favorites. Thanks for sharing. ~Randy
i love the grid throughout the planner and the quotes on the bottom

It’s such a well designed planner… truly unparalleled. It looks like the 2023 hobonichi will keep the same paper so that’s exciting!
I prefer the JP version of the daily pages, but I really like how clean the vertical monthly overview and monthly calendars are in the ENG version.
I also prefer the Japanese layout because the English one is so streamlined with limited timeline, no check boxes.
i would purchase this just for the donburi rice bowl page haha
