@@sten3826 Idk if ur still looking for an answer but, I was having the same problem as u. I figured it out by accident lmao. So, after pressing g, I scrolled on the mouse wheel and the circle to reduce the area showed up. Then, when it was around the area I wanted to change I just moved my mouse.
Sorry for not using the actual terms for stuff. Ive only been using blender for less than a month. Stuff is confusing lmao.
