Assalamu Alaikum akhi. I would like to ask you a certain question pertaining something you said in a previous video 'Reflections On Trumps Visit To Saudi'. You said in that video that we must obey muslim leaders even if they are oppressive/tyrannical/thalimoon, but in the famous khudba that Abu Bakr radiyalahu anhu gave after he was chosen to be the first caliph, he said, "Obey me so long as I obey Allah and His Messenger. And if I disobey Allah and His Messenger, then I have no right to your obedience." Can you please elaborate.
Walaikum al salam sister ... good question Firstly the statement of the Prophet SAAS stands regardless.. as he is our authority.. and the statement of Abu Bakr RA doesn't contradict... as i mentioned we obey the leader in that which he tells us as long as he doesnt ocmmand us to disobey Allah.. so when Abu Bakr RA SAID 'And if I disobey Allah and His Messenger, then I have no right to your obedience." what we understand from that is that we don't obey the leader in that particular thing which is a disobedience but general obedience he has
That isn't the point... whether he is tyrannical or not he still must be obeyed... EXCEPT if he asks you to obey him in haram... then we do not obey.. and that is what Abu Bakr RA is talking about... hope that makes sense
I have a very deep question that I haven't gotten an answer from the internet, if a person has a chronic disease that they have been born with that causes the body to be fatigued very easily and need a medicine each day three times a day in the form of a tablet, is it OK to take the tablet with a little water just to get it down,to reduce the terrible symptoms of the disease? Also once the tablet is in the body it becomes easy to fast and do many other activities. Thank you
i have a question about pictures Please Answer me Brother Imran i'm a web developer i design website and those websites have pictures on them (males only) and is this haram?
Brother I hope you can answer my question. Sometimes i put my hands around my face and lips and when lick my lips I feel like I tasted my lotion or oil, etc, does this break my fast? I also suffer from waswas so this makes me feel like I broke my fast
Riham Elhassan By the will of Allah your fast is still valid as long as you didn't intentionally intake any food, drink, or any substance. Even if it was the case of one drinking a glass of water forgetting that he/she is fasting. Allah knows best For reference you can ask this question through on IslamQA in sha Allah
