If you guys understood the key changes and the musicality it takes to sing like this when you’re the writer not the singer...you would have a different opinion
I don’t agree. You’re just lamenting the decline of one style and the rise of something more modally ambiguous and syncopated. I think you’re disappointed that nothing sounds like “Part of Your World,” and that’s preventing you from hearing the longer phrases and more complex melodic narratives that Frozen II in particular is weaving. Mencken wrote individual tunes that contained individual dramatic moments. Lopez & Anderson-Lopez write dramas that are made of multiple tunes and their interplay with one another. And they are better at irony, bitterness, despair.

I like her voice more than any other singer who sings this song
When these two START the song, they almost sound exactly like the soundtrack..... then....
Frozen sister
Galing ng pinoy
Makes great songs, but looks like the worst person to deal with if you made a mistake in a restaurant.
Alan Menken has written better, timeless, more memorable and fitting songs than the Lopez couple has and ever will.
Ok?
@@octalien6936 It's true.
@@1992disney I mean you aren't wrong
But kinda harsh on the Lopez couple 🤷♂️
@@octalien6936 Unlike the Lopez couple, Alan Menken almost always puts character development and story progression first and then the music.
