In 1892, the federal government paid $25,000 in reparations to the families of the lynched Italian immigrants, according to the AP.
Seneca Village existed until 1857, when, through eminent domain, the Black villagers and other settlers in the area were ordered to leave and their houses were torn down for the construction of Central Park. The entirety of the village was dispersed except for one congregation that relocated. American history is Black history.

The timeline is not correct. If Italian Americans came to the states in the 1880’s how could they help Black people who already in the Country Two-Hundred and Fifty years prior. Furthermore, the United States Government encouraged European immigration in order to displace the Black Workers who were already here. The government gave incentives, for immigration. Incentives that were not available to Blacks. In the Homestead Act of 1862, Single men would receive 320 acres of land, If married they could receive SIX-Hundred and Forty Acres of land.
Additionally, the Unions were created to exclude Black Workers.
And they are still doing it to this day. Most of these immigrant workers in Los Angeles county can't even speak english. I can't even order a big mac without repeating myself. 😄

Mean you could come here without a single dollar to your name and the government would give you and your family government assistance for schooling jobs and legal aid.
