This song peaks so hard once it gets to the "Stand up. Gallop on," portion and onward. My absolute favorite portion is just that emotional violin during the sky-duel. It sounds like it's reaching towards something just out of grasp. It keeps repeating until the very end of the duel, then there's this tender triumph that ties it all up so beautifully.
This is the best mix I hear, the "Here we go another lap" part actually fits here I knew my guy got my back after I jammed to Patches of Violet and Compass mixes
@@pancakes1592 There's that, but also a reference to the fact that our previous Don would hate Bloodfiend Don And Bloodfiend Don wishes she could live in the dream of previous Don, there are a lot of possible duel meanings and I think it's fantastic
@@NomadKolibria there's also the fact that she hate the idea of killing both her higher kindred, her father, her hero and her friend, but there was no other way around it. She liked following Quixote around, liked the adventure, but never really wanted to be the hero, rather, was forced into that role by circumstances, but she has to accept it now as a dying wish of a man who was everything to her. Sancho got the title of the hero of her own story together with immence grief of her first heroic deed.
There's also potential for a joke about how Mancha Don got embedded into the ferris wheel. In the end... La Manchaland's biggest fan was sadly the windmill.
@DemonerLycan Sancho still wanted to be a hero, she loves the idea of fixers who fights for justice. She may have faltered in that belief when she saw LaMancha Land and Don Quixote condition, but at the end she came back not because she was forced or anything but because despite everything, Sancho is still a dreamer to the point of fighting against her progenitor (something a bloodfiend shouldn't and *couldn't*). In the end, Sancho didn't continue dreaming because of a dying wish, but because that is both of their dreams, Sancho and Don Quixote
Ce héro, quelques jours à peine après que la troisième partie du Canto VII soit sortit et avant que Mili nous sorte "héro" il nous ponds ceci. Super travail, c'était entraînant en plus d'être un bon résumé visuel de l'histoire de Don.
oh shiiiiiiiit these piano transitions between parts of the song are fire, i LOVE IT, thank you for 7:39 long meal AND the guitar (?) at 7:00 SO GOOD it makes me emotional
dude your mixes are so so gorgeous, the additions you work in compliment into the tracks beautifully and make them all the more memorable, amazing work!
Okay now my comment might be a little controversial, but the overall standing of the soundtrack was absolutely phenomenal. I only have a few adjustments in criticism to make it sound better if you ever want to change it, not saying any of it is bad. Piano transition #1 at was absolutely perfect, however after listening to #3 at 5:02, #3 should been at a higher pitch since it leads into a more erratic tone. And #2 at 3:52 didn't match the follow up, BUT the introduction of the piano transition were absolutely amazing none the less At 2:15 I felt as though some form of words should been said, 2:33 a little ackward, but once 2:44 it was like . _. Hmm feels a little empty. BUT OTHER THAN THAT. Again the song in it's entirty is amazing, especially the ending transition.
I felt like 3:52 didn't match and had the ending part of the piano off putting because that is the part of the song where the lyrics go dark compared to how the ones in the first part. Like you hear those notes of 3:55 and it really feels like everything just became worse, which is in my opinion how it should be as it would be how Don/Sancho feels.
Did you make those *additional piano bits yourself? Wowzer! *Honestly, I really like how your mix ended up; it addressed my own gripes with the song. I've also been trying to make a personal mix and surprisingly there are some bits of mine that share similarities with yours. Very cool!
Yup, anything you didn't hear from the original Hero is added by me. In this mix I specifically added additional piano, with a bit of guitar and drums.

When the official upload doesn't have any instrumental parts to build up it's widely different segments, I know the community remixes got my back 🗣🗣🔥

I just like that there's some build-up to "Here we go, another lap" and not just suddenly dive into it

Only improvement would be adding in the ferris wheel start up sound because it slaps. Very nice mix.

I'm betting that the notorious fast section we know is incomplete and we'll hear full version when official version is uploaded
Welp it's still the same in official version.
Lol
I still can't recover that there's no transition. I'm sad.

I like how the first verse is repeated twice to reflect both of Don’s periods of innocence. In both interpretations of that sentence.

Peak Mix 🥲
You should add the final duel dialogue too. That would be even peaker
Thought of that but since this is just a mix, the dialogue would overlap with the lyrics and it wouldn't be something you'd listen to on repeat.
@@k1g4n35 oh true..
@@k1g4n35alt version with final duel dialogue maybe? or it might be too much work idk
