Yeah even though you can grab another item because you've self inflicted damage it's odd that it lets you pick up two extra which is enough to just get through the tripwire but you end up losing about 4 seconds on the first lap with this method which is easily made up later on. With the old strat the best I could get was a 52"xx (Can't remember specifically)
This is pretty good. There's still a little room for improvement, but there's just oddities I notice when doing these runs that keep piling and feeling like RNG more and more to be able to push it down even slightly. Some runs are just faster lap 1 and 2 for no apparent reason when doing them without a change in strategy, or sometimes you just get launched from the grey springs at the end harder and bridge the distance gap. It's just wild things here or there sometimes. *I've been sitting on my sub 48 run for 2 days but have been to lazy to make the new thumbnail lol, but it's at a point where it's just a nightmare grind for every small time save even on D0
Oh so you beat it? Nice! I'm not gonna bother improving it any more because it was pretty much confirmed by Tyron today that they're planning on getting rid of this strat and to be honest I preferred going the other way anyway. Way less random ahaha as fun as going ludicrously fast is
you can't get another item from the same row of boxes unless you get hit so if you mess up a spindash, it counts as "getting hit" so you can grab another ring box
The big boost in speed comes from the fact that the longer you hold a ring boost, the faster you get. (Hence why the last lap only takes a few seconds compared to the first one.)
So it's all of the jackpots stacking up making my ring boosting more powerful as I keep getting them. If you don't stop getting rings your speed will keep increasing but the ring boxes are stronger in time trial than race and Chao has the nest ring stacking so you just get faster as time goes by
my average online opponent
Nice run! Those first few seconds spent stacking those ring boosts is valuable given the speed gains overtime o.o

@@flooidity honestly, thank god lmao
What
Huh, didn't know you can get an aura boost with enough ring supercharge stacking...
Is Chao the best character for time attacks?
Wow, this game's the ultrakill of kart racers
I gotta go try this later
@franciscovegamarquez7646 It takes a bit to learn but it is a lot of fun, races are always frantic! Game is free too!
@@flooidity i already 100%ed this game, i'm referring to this clip
This is amazing lmao
Why do you fail the spindash at the start? Why does that give you such a boost in speed?
you can't get another item from the same row of boxes unless you get hit
so if you mess up a spindash, it counts as "getting hit" so you can grab another ring box

@@glyndekariBut how the hell did he grab the ring box a SECOND time AFTER the failed spin dash?
How are you boosting continuously like that?

Did I see you reach 800 speed wtf?
