The weather is so changeable atm! Sunny, windy, cloudy, muggy! Everyday is different. Definitely agree about coping with Greek heat better compared to home. I struggle at work and at home when its humid, and my hair frizzes up awful! Yet abroad, you can cool off in the pool and sea, have air con, enjoy cold drinks etc. It's so much easier to cope with.
The black top for £7.50 was a bargain staple item. The blue top really suited you too. Both were nicely shaped and not too clingy, which is a lot more flattering to us curvy ladies. I really liked the white jeans too. The white dress was really nice with the black detail piping, but such a shame the cut was out. It didn't seem to hang right. You'd expect a more flattering cut for that price really.

Hi Maria . Nice dresses , shame about some of the arms being baggy , but a little tuck & a few stitches would fix it . But I’m now waiting for winter wear , as I’m not going abroad anymore. And this weather isn’t sundress suitable 😂.
I don’t like the muggy weather , but we used to go to Cyprus every year , very hot 🥵, but a different heat 👍. Thanks for sharing 😘

Ooh that black dress. I never know what bra to wear as I’m blessed in the boobs and not so blessed in the arms and legs.
M and s has lost the plot on sizes especially trousers I picked up a short wide leg linen short was always my go to now I need heels with short and can never find extra short.
I wish companies had left the short at 24/25 inches and added an extra tall one.
That first black top fits lovley and is so useful.

Hi Maria
It would be a good idea which you have got a bad back . I have a chronic back issue and have. Even ongoing since 2008. Don’t leave it. Wow a Marks and Spencer haul.Thats the only store apart from Evans who do a short leg. If life was an equal equation as reguards to shape you do seem to be a bit of both.i love that black dress as it’s absolutely stunning. I don’t like the white dress at all. If it was more fitted maybe something different . I could not justify the spend on it tbh

Just lost my comments! I did not care for the white dress - too big and would be better in a different fabric to make it hang better. The black dress was good. Keep it and take in the right seam under the armhole. Make a seam if not one there. The blue and white tank top and white jeans were nice also. Thanks for showing us the clothes.

Up in the North West the weather wasn’t that hot at all I’d say Pleasant . Loved the black dress I’d just wear statement earrings with it myself. I think M&S sizes are all over the place . I got 2 tops last week 1 is an 18 the other a 22 normally I’m a 20. You could try that black dress on again and next time might fit you better . X

Hi Maria,definitely a rectangle,apples have big breasts,hips,tummy,and bottom,skinny legs,and thin arms,I think I’m a rectangle now I am older,I was more of an hour glass when young,but I have lost my waist.I have no shoulders,or hips,medium breasts,a high round tummy,and a high round bottom,big legs,and arms,I’m sort of half an apple,half a rectangle,and 5ft 2ins.You could sew a seem under the arm on the black dress,it looks great on you.

Ah Maria…..know what you mean about the heat! We were lucky…..down in Dorset visiting my youngest son and were able to spend time on the beach with a lovely breeze! You’re right - I also feel the stores are holding back on sales. Like us all they are hoping for summer to arrive. As for shape - well I think very few of us are the shape we were as youngsters. I was an hour glass and it came as a great shock to realise that the middle of the hour glass had expanded somewhat! When did that happen? Love the black dress and the armhole problem would be easily solved with a good alteration lady. The pearls lift the dress to a dressier level but I would wear silver for day wear. Please keep this dress! Iam jealous…my big boobies would look dreadful in that style! Xx Liz

The black dress is great! Get a seamstress to take care of the extra width. As an aside, you’re taking too long with your intro, and too much time discussing each outfit. We want to see more, hear less if you don’t mind- sorry. No to the white dress, and also the other spaghetti strap dress. Blue patterned tank and white trousers look good on you.
