With a bit of internal tweaking these units will outperform the Sansui TU-9900 AND TU-919's all day long and approach Charlie Sumo territory (have owned all of them). Easily the most underrated and under priced tuner ever.
Back in 1991 i was a dj at my high school 2 times a week. The amp was one of these Technics pro integrated amps. With 4 speakers with a 15" woofer. One night there where a big party at the school, and that Technics just pounded away all night. As far i can see none of these amps are big in watts like 500 watt....all i know is am still very impressed by it. To drive 4 15" woofers like that
