Hinayaan na lang nila kami, wala nang guidance. Pero at least, dahil do'n sa experience ko na 'yon, mayroon na akong isa sa mga drive ko why I'd enter the field
I went back to Uni in 2017 to continue my studies and just graduated again last year. Take note, I came from the old curriculum. I didn't learn as much as I should have because 99% of the profs were lazy af. "Facilitators" as they would label themselves. What a let down.
This is what I've realized lately. You know, the concept of "learning by doing" theory could be effective if only teachers are really facilitating. However, you're quite right about teachers abandoning students' learning. Perhaps, due to lots of paperworks or they just don't love teaching. Maybe, it's a good thing that teachers should do their oath taking monthly, so that they are reminded that their profession is teaching, not just facilitating. Just an honest conviction based on experience (hindi ko nilalahat ha, mayroon naman talagang teachers na dedicated talaga kung magturo at I admire them for that, also they're one of my inspirations to continue this profession) So, yeah.. 😊
