Great job Sr. 👋
Thank you! Cheers!
Great information!
Thanks for watching!
Very Good, info..!!!
I've toyed with, but not worried about logos yet!!
You gave example of LG , they combined LG name , Icon and tagline, my question is that , this type combination would be trated as wordmark or Device ? with assumption that all three are not seperatly registred but if we want to register all three put together for our brand ,let us know
If the trademark has anything other than standard latin characters in it, it is considered a device mark. For example, even Chinese hieroglyphs are considered design marks in the U.S.
Thanks for the video, can I use one (name) trademark on multiple products?
Yes, absolutely. That's why it's important to carefully consider the list of goods and services that go in your trademark application.
What happens if I don't pay USPTO fee? Can I still use my trademark? Can I pay USPTO later?
Thanks.
@@rgeno6091 There are deadlines imposed by the USPTO. If you don't do what they what you to do before the deadline, your application will be deemed abandoned. This doesn't mean you can't necessarily USE your brand, but once abandoned, you will have no protection anymore.
Thank you very much
Glad you found it useful.
Very good content! Thank you Andrei!
Thank you :)
This video is very helpful 👍🏾
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the feedback.
This is invaluable info to us as we’re today having our initial call with you to trademark our 2 main brands with another 6 to go but all of The combinations are freaking me out bc we have a total of 8 without counting combos or colors - which means a lot of $$$!!! - so hopefully you offer a volume discount!
Thank you for your feedback. Excited to have you join the TMF Family :)
You provide great videos, thank you
Glad you like them!
is it necessary to register with more than 1 category?
If you offer more than one type of products or services, then it is very much desirable to trademark your brand for all of them. If you only do one thing, then a single class is perfectly appropriate.
GOOD MORNING...
🖐
Hi Trademark Factory,
What is someone registers a word mark called “No Talk All Show” for class 25 but I want to register a fanciful logo design called “No Talk All Hustle” for class 25 can the application still be accepted although the other person is a word mark and mine is a design mark ?
Or would it be confusing similar ?
Depending on how many other "no talk" marks there are in class 025. If No Talk All Show is the only one, they'd have a stronger case against you. If there are a few, you'd have a good argument that hustle is very different from talk and that if 3-4 "no talk" marks can coexist, then so would 4-5.
@@trademarkfactory thanks trademark factory 1 more question :
If you do a combined mark with symbol and words which one has more stronger rights the symbol or the word ?
@@YOUNGRYNTAA Depends on which one is more distinctive. If you have a purple circle with a unique word. then the word will have more weight. If you have a unique image with a generic word, then the image will have more weight. It's all very fact-specific.
Can Mariah Carey trademark queen of Christmas
Her company's trademark is currently being opposed by Elizabeth Chan, who claims to be pop music’s only full-time Christmas singer songwriter. The opposition has just been filed, which means a couple of things. First of all, it means that the USPTO felt that the trademark was approval-worthy. Second, it means that we'll only find out if MC will get to own the brand after the opposition proceedings are resolved.
Here's the link to the opposition proceedings: ttabvue.uspto.gov/ttabvue/v?pno=91277915&pty=OPP&eno=1
