Is that a custom colour on that blue boat? I've not seen that style of boat in that colour before. It looks really good.
The one that you referenced has a white hull and yet this one is blue.... I confused...

The patchwork of teak decking at the cockpit really messes with my OCD! Great boat. Really love these sub 200k reviews. Makes it feel within touching distance for the average person
looks like a fine and proper boat for the money and nd a good mix between a sports boat and a cruiser. I would love to see or try this on the open water how it preforms
Only the aft deck looks like a jigsaw puzzle with seams between that are begging to be cleaned with a toothbrush at the end of every visit.

Excellent little boat. I’d need more refrigeration space for a weekends worth of provisions/beer. I always like an external grill, so when I’m cooking, I won’t smell up the boat. My RV’s internal kitchen has never been used. I only use the outside kitchen rain or shine. Loved the video Nick
Here in Asia, we always use internal kitchens (or galleys) of any kind to only boil/steam rice, prepare cornflakes and instant ramen. All the serious cooking (and smells) have to happen outside regardless the weather! 🤣🤣
You could probably get a little propane grill or butane cooktop for something like this. I don't really see an obvious spot where they could have added a grill

A great catch all multi purpose boat that looks like a jake of all trades and master of many.
Love it. They look great with the forward raked windscreen and brow. It really makes the best of what could be quite a small pilothouse.
Nice boat, looks to me as a more "bare bone" version of the Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1095, for a lot less money. Day boat, weekend boat, fishing trip, does it all.

Pretty similar. I do like the larger deck area and a slightly smaller pilot house, hopefully you are spending more time outside than inside.
The 1095 has 3 cabins and 2 heads, but the 895 is pretty much like this one. Definitely a boat I’d like to think I might afford (used) in a few years.
40 kts that is very impressive and versatile vessel too.
Versatility is the name of the game with this boat. What the owner needs on a day out this boat can do. Small boat with a big heart. I like the way you're reviewing such a variety of boats from small boats to super yacht.

Thanks for a nice vid. Great boat, would prefer a diesel engine. I noticed one thing. 0:06 The outlet for self-draining-pipe-thingy comes out under the waterline. in my book that is not a good thing, especially during winter season....
Absolutely love these boats, they got that little ship vibe to it, very impressed with the amount of storage provided by the OEM, not an inch wasted, the 360 view from inside is simply fantastic, what a little gem, and does 40 kts, only thing I would spec mine would be a bigger fridge or a second one, maybe a bbq in the bridge somewhere ? Definitely also getting a bit of a Merry Fisher vibe with this one. Stainless steel chain instead of ropes on that anchor too. Pretty good value for the asking price!

Sweet can-do-all boat! Looks very high quality, for sure. Great for a fishing day with the mates, great for a weekend with the wife. Not every boat can do those very well. Cheers!
Very interesting boat! quite a unique but fresh design. I would rather have a dark floor under the teak because with all the hatches it looks a bit fussy.

I was thinking it is very utilitarian as well. I can't find anything particularly wrong with it, but it just lacks the sex appeal.

Look out WEEKENDS - we are going BOATING. Rain or shine. Foul or fair. There'll be no reason not to go "out" EVERY weekend. Think about it - for less than the cost of an exotic auto you can go places a car can't (it's a tough go to make a hot soup and sandwich lunch while motoring down the highway). Plus, this is the class of boat that's suited for an outboard. And in fair weather, two families could have a jolly good time with the multiple, "convertible" spaces. Ticks all the boxes for a fun, practical, proper, pocket yacht - thanks Nick.

That seems like very good value for money - not that I have that much money. Great utility boat.
I think the hob was a Wallas diesel one. You can fit a lid on it which blows hot air across the hot plate and into the cabin and acts as a heater. Very clever and surprisingly effective.
Great tour and a lovely boat reminds me a bit about the Merry fisher 695.

In a way, outboard engines are better then inboard engines on those smaller boats. It gives more space for people and storage when the engine hang om the back of the boat. And on small boats as this, that can make quite a difference.

Cute little boat Nick. They could perhaps have been a little bit more imaginative with the cabin & I’m not sure I’m a fan of the ‘crazy paved’ Flexiteek cockpit flooring! Yes I know it’s got lots of lockers but... Oh well at this price can’t grumble too much!!! 😃
Looks like a good mix between fun and relaxation. I like seeing a functional swim platform on an outboard. Pretty nice for the price and a good step up from a 20ft bow rider. Thank you @Nick

The deck floor is quite impressive for such a cheap boat. It definitely offers a lot more than its price promises.

Maybe with an onboard diesel. 300hp petrol at 40 knots sounds like a very expensive fuel bill.
Looks like Askeladden P92 SUV which looks like a streched version of their P79 Weekend. The builder seems to have streched the boat from the cockpit. Cabin looks identical.

Hi Nick, great boat, only issue is the sleeping fir a family of 4. It's a shame that they have not managed to make the second sleeping area a bit wider and higher. I would get rid of one or two of the lockers to get that extra space. Have a long locker on the side you access the boat for paddle board ect. That was 2 young children and 2 adults could go out and stay out for a few nights very easily. Outside of that it's an excellent boat with a lot of kit for the money.
Like Antares and Merry Fisher, you could lower the dinette table, fit a cushion and sleep a (non basketball playing) child.
There's also canopy available for the cockpit, so you could sleep people there.
A more fundamental issue, is lack of ventilation down below. Especially in the heads.Whomever decided to install a clear window, so anyone can see inside, but NO opening port light nor hatch, would seem to have been huffing a bit much of the result of that.......
This maybe could also be a large/all-weather tender to a superyacht; it's more than enough passenger seating to be used as such. Versatile :)
Interesting little boat and like you say, a good first timer but I think it needs to be half the price.

I really like the no nonsense design and the relatively affordable price. I think it would be improved with the option to add a 50hp outboard in case the V8 soils its trousers.
Cook a fry up on the hob and those switches are going to be in a right mess PDQ, odd design choice when pretty much everything else looks well thought out, or perhaps you’re intended to stick to cheese and Marmite sandwiches!
I would get a jeaneau merry Fisher 1095 but this boat is brilliant
