@@SauceOnChickenBalli assume you’re speaking of the USA. the USA has no national language, before settlers english wasn’t the default language. texas in this case, had spanish spoken there more than english (again before the USA colonized it) because it was part of mexico. many foreigners do know english but have a tough time speaking it. or, they just don’t want to talk to you. before you judge them, ask yourself if they’re speaking to you in broken english because it’s the only language you know.
