Very happy to see that Vigor has finally made its way to the PC and it is completely FREE to Play now! This "Extraction Shooter" adopts a lot of the gameplay elements from Escape from Tarkov but simplifies them so that more casual gamers can hop in a play. It still provides plenty of challenge, but I have found that the overall experience allows for a more streamlined type of game that also allows for shorter gaming sessions and faster matchmaking.

I'm glad I discovered this game. It feelsd a bit like Tarkov but it is much more easy to get into. I wish they had a type of black market or something but I know is a smaller game. Very cool 😎
It's a great game used to play on Xbox then moved over to pc unfortunately tho as for me and a few others there's huge fps drops on rigs that should run this easy
@@beardedeagle2023 I haven't really noticed any huge fps drops yet, but I do hope they work out the kinks and bugs quickly for the people that are experiencing issues. The gameplay is quite good. If they can optimize the performance so that the game works better with more varied hardware I think Vigor could become quite popular among players who want a Tarkov-like experience without being overly complicated. It's obviously more casual, but still a lot of fun.
Yes indeed it's such an amazing little game I personally love the upgrading of the hideout too hopefully it gets the love it deserves unfortunately tho they made it pay to play and then wiped everyone's stuff hence the 'mixed reviews' on steam but keep it up definitely coming back to watch you play some more
@@beardedeagle2023 I didn't know that, about everyone's stuff being wiped. Hopefully they fix the problem in a timely manner. I haven't spent any money on it yet myself. However, if they do fix the issues that people have had and continue updating, tweaking, and optimizing the game, then I'd have no problem spending a little bit on the game. Here's hoping they do. 🤞

is it cross play? can pc play with console plsyers?
At the moment there's crossplay between xbox and switch but i'm guessing that all platforms will be a feature for the future.
@@danullah9163 As far as I know, not yet. It would be nice to see it get cross-platform support though. At the same time, I would also hope that if the devs make the game cross-platform that they also include the ability to turn that feature off. The more options for gamers, the better.
These games are all the same. Lots of running around looting, almost zero action for most of the game and then a brief flurry of action. It's like 95% running and looting then 5% action.
@@keithprice1950 There are numerous objectives you can go for during matches as well though. The more you go for the more action you'll see, usually.
typical horseshit game made with 0 intuition or originality. these types of games are like instagram or youtube brainrot content material in videogame formats :D
My progress on Xbox, does it transfer if I play on Steam?
@@camilitox1295 No. It doesn't look like there is any way to bring progress over from another platform. Not yet anyway. I doubt that they will add this feature, but who knows.
Hey,can you help me with vigor on pc,I set my setting ambient occlusion on low but every time I go to settings it sets itself back on high,I even went and set settings in GameUserSettings file but still it went back as it is when I restarted the game

I'm not associated in any way with the game or it's developers, but I'll try to help out if I can. As far as I can tell, I am able to change the ambient occlusion settings with no problem. However, I am running the game in borderless window mode. What I would suggest is, try changing the windowed mode to Full-screen or Windowed (borderless), then try changing the ambient occlusion setting. Try both, or try all of the different windowed modes and then try changing the AO setting. If it saves under one of the other window modes save it and exit the game. After that, restart the game and change it back to the window mode you want, then see if the Ambient occlusion stayed at the low setting. That might solve the problem. If that doesn't work then I would suggest trying the Steam forums for Vigor. Someone else may have found this problem and discovered a solution for it. Hope that helps.
@@noobara1988 Another option you might try is changing the graphics quality settings from high, to medium, and then to low. Once you've done that, then go into advanced options and see if you can turn any of the other settings up. Again, hope this helps.

When I saw this game I was kind of stoaked to try it out. Never even heard of it before. I REALLY wanted to like it but I can say unequivocally that it is the worst extraction game on the market. How absolutely brain dead every aspect of the game is. How I would spawn in and just run directly to the right every single game and spawn kill some poor guy. The game has been out for 5 years and the pvp is absolutely bare bones and boring.
Going f2p is them grasping onto the last branch. I do not envy any one who invests time into this game now, you will soon have nothing to show for it.
@@A_Goat I personally can't say that it is the worst extraction shooter, because I've enjoyed my time with it considerably. As far as PC gamers go, it's still a relatively new game on the market. I find that the different elements to Vigor make for a fairly enjoyable experience. I definitely wouldn't say the game is perfect, but it's an alternative to Tarkov for those who don't have the time or money. There are also quite a few new players to the game, so people are still learning the basics. I personally think that the game has plenty of opportunity and room for growth as far as the market for these games is concerned. I'm hopeful that we'll continue to see improvements made over time.
This game is FULL of campers. Trash. 90% of the player base either camps the extraction zones or where the main loot locations are. It gets old REAL quick.
Use signals detector
@@blazerdude89 For an extraction shooter, I haven't encountered that many campers. I mean, it's obviously not meant to be played like Call of Duty, but the game is meant to be played with a certain amount of patience, stealth, and caution. I've found that it gets better and better as you learn the maps.
@@SobeR999 Good tip. The signal detector is a powerful tool in this game. However, if you're playing on a team, only the person who used the signal detector can see where enemies are approximately located on the map, and the buff is temporary, so it's important to be cautious, because everyone else in the game also knows when a person has used the signal detector, making that player vulnerable as well.
Exfil campers ruin this game though. Gets boring
@@the_problem7066 It can be like Tarkov in that way sometimes. However, Vigor gives the player a lot more tools to counter campers. Signal detectors, smoke bombs, decoys, mortar strikes, all work very well against campers.
This HUD is trash
@@LorDAndr3 The HUD is minimalistic. As it should be with an extraction shooter. Less interference with what's going on around you. I find that it works fine in Vigor. Still, I understand that's your opinion. I just prefer less intrusive and minimalistic HUDs in my games.
