You're right about her boosted stage presence and confidence! It was off the roof! And the vocals, plus she was absolutely gorgeous as you said. I really appreciate you looking at the facts accurately and being willing to see the parallels between Christina and Madonna. Christina actually was called the successor of Madonna in many ways, such as #QueenOfReinvention! This narrative existed from Stripped to Back to basics and bit after that. It was of course because of her drastic musical & image changes, control of their own career and her trait to challenge conventions, just like M. Moreover Christina is very genuine, honest, un-calculated and unapologetic. I appreciate some of those traits in Madonna aswell. They are both trailblazers and pioneers to the ones who came after them. Put some respect in their names!
She's also similar to Madonna in the way that she reinvents herself and her sound for each album. I can't think of any other artists whose albums all sound unique.

She's a beast on stage. Her voice and her presence just fill up the stage completely. It's a good point that maybe not touring for so many years kept her voice healthy. Honestly, during Lotus her voice was a bit rough but that's because her voice is so tied to her confidence. During Liberation and X Tour her voice got better and better as she performed more. If you can, definitely check some of her Liberation and X Tour performances, even on your own time.

A bionic tour was planned but was cancelled for unknown reasons (or at least unknown for me). She also didn't like touring with her kids, she always wanted a normal life for her kids, give them structure, let them go to school instead of getting schooled on tour. That's one of the reasons why she joined The Voice and why she stopped promoting her music all around the music.
I believe she was in the middle of the media backlash per say due to Perez Hilton scrutiny, Gaga comparisons and her divorce. All that negativity and to top it off low sales of tickets that resulted in cancellation of her tour. I don’t blame her all that negativity sucks all your energy off. I believe later she focused on her new project Burlesque.
I’m happy you finally got to see this!! Can’t wait for the Liberation Tour and The Xperience! Personally, for me, the B2B Tour is her best tour in terms of artistry, theme and production. Although I love the Stripped Tour, for me, it was much darker in aesthetically. Don’t get me wrong, I love that, but personally I like what she did the B2B. I feel like the album solidified her as a force in the industry and the tour was the cherry on top. From the smallest details to the vocals, it was iconic. David 2020 I agree. However, I’d say MTV lost its credibility a while back. I’d say somewhere between 2005 and 2010. They don’t show music videos anymore. They went from Music Television to Reality Television. Should she receive it, absolutely, but I don’t think it means anything these days. MTV has no business awarding people awards in the area of music when music is not their primary content.
Who cares MTV!? She has the respect of music industry!! She won Grammys! She is beloved in Latin América, Europa and Asia, she really can sing even in a perfect spanish and live!! I do have to say... Back to Basics is definitely my favorite tour from Xtina, she wakes up my love for R&B, soul and what she’s providing is exquisite. The whole orchestra in the back in each song is something wonderful. The freaking saxophone in Understand makes me scream. Makes me wanna pray, that song is what makes me live. And I would continue describing but nobody have time for that. I do love this reaction. It was genuine. And I do love the fact that you todo your time and went to the Christina Aguilera journey.

Lars Briseid oh wow wiki confirms it ok that’s reliable. I don’t know if you know much about filming concerts, but they film all cities in that country and edit it to make the one show for the DVD release. My father also worked behind the scenes at the SYDNEY concert delivering and installing the cameras for the production of filming. I’m not going to sit here and debate it with a random who thinks they know it all and hear them tell me otherwise. but wiki confirms it right... 🙄

I agree. However, I think Liberation was more about getting back out there and just jammin’ with fans. I would have preferred something a little more cohesive, but I’m not upset about it. I think we’re used to big productions that most pop stars have but I don’t even consider Xtina a pop girl. She’s an artist and if she wants she can just sit there and sing. She has the voice. Now the Vegas residency, that I was a little disappointed with in terms of storyline and theme. I felt like it started off great, then it kind of just went off theme. Other than that, she gave some iconic performances and looks!

Carlos Martínez, I know that the residency is not supporting an album. However, I would argue that most residencies follow some kind of format/theme that displays a body of work. I agree, the production is incredible, but we’re also in 2019/2020. I would expect production values to be top notch compared to 2006/2007. Also, a residency is housed by one venue and therefore can display much more since the equipment doesn’t have to travel to other venues. As for a Bionic Tour, we can all imagine what that would have looked and sounded, but we’ll never know for sure. Personally I think the aesthetic would have been incredible. As for B2B, I think it stands the test of time. As Sal mentioned, it was beautifully shot and well done.
The highest grossing female tour of 2007. Simply iconic.

She is more like Madonna than Britney ever was, i agree with you. I never understood why britney was the "next" madonna, when Xtina´s music, lyrics, videos, looks, ballsiness, etc makes her more like Madonna. Anyway, both Brit and Xtina are great.
Facts.
Well Madonna was the queen of pop and Britney was the pop princess. So it's logical at least that that's how the general public would think of it just based on that. But yes, when one actually pays attention and analyzes these things they'd see what you say in your comment.
Christina was called next Madonna actually, many times. One of her honorary titles is also "Queen of Reinvention"

Her last great tour, the new ones had lack of theme and production
I thought Liberation was amazing. It didn't have as solid of a theme, no, but the show was still great.
I agree. However, I think Liberation was more about getting back out there and just jammin’ with fans. I would have preferred something a little more cohesive, but I’m not upset about it. I think we’re used to big productions that most pop stars have but I don’t even consider Xtina a pop girl. She’s an artist and if she wants she can just sit there and sing. She has the voice. Now the Vegas residency, that I was a little disappointed with in terms of storyline and theme. I felt like it started off great, then it kind of just went off theme. Other than that, she gave some iconic performances and looks!
@@mariolongoria7238 The Xperience had better production but lack of theme, but it's logic cuz the xperience is a residency not a tour of some album. The bionic tour would've been amazing I dare to say even better than B2B tour
Carlos Martínez, I know that the residency is not supporting an album. However, I would argue that most residencies follow some kind of format/theme that displays a body of work. I agree, the production is incredible, but we’re also in 2019/2020. I would expect production values to be top notch compared to 2006/2007. Also, a residency is housed by one venue and therefore can display much more since the equipment doesn’t have to travel to other venues. As for a Bionic Tour, we can all imagine what that would have looked and sounded, but we’ll never know for sure. Personally I think the aesthetic would have been incredible. As for B2B, I think it stands the test of time. As Sal mentioned, it was beautifully shot and well done.
