@@Hoodini2253 I do play claw when doing trick cuts, otherwise I just play standard. It takes some getting used to but it’s worth it once you get it down 👊🏻

It actually does have a place in optimal gameplay: 1- it can make you dodge attacks if you are consistent at it 2- the biggest one is that it refreshes the string allowing you to do the full 5 judgment cuts with out weaving a normal attacks : so you can do 1 jc (this is amazing since with 100% bleed gauge efficiency is enough to almost trigger the bleed , so the full 4 jc barrage after the cancel will have the bleed dmg bonus and crit) + trick cancel into the full 4 string for maximun dps , this can help you squeeze extra dps in boss hunts or raids however be mindful that it will fully deplete the concentration gauge so youll have to one or two extra na
@@BloodyRoad no but you can do it inverse first the JC , then the cancel into the full 4 JC string , doing this trick completely resets the string, this probably saves a few seaconds for dps Not to mention it allows you to squeeze the extra JC if with out doing a normal attack animation

And also, vergil (kinda lady too) are the only cool characters here since vergil is more related to yamato so, it isn't that bad that you can't switch weapons.

@@BloodyRoad Like...Dante has LESS combo options than Vergil...like that's something absurd to me, you play DMC5 and DMC3 with hundreds of weapons and moves, and then you play this stupid game, Dante has 2 combos and stinger and that's it, honestly I only play this to pass time, because to have fun...it's difficult.

As i tested, doing 5 trick cuts in fact gives less mp(3 and half lines of mp) than 1 trick cut + 4 cuts barrage (4 and hafl line of mp) and deals more damage, trick cut is hard but really isn't that useful technique

True I never really thought about that first point. I was more so saying it from a raw dps perspective because you don’t proc doppels.
Also you cannot do it after 4x JC in a row because the game prevents you from stringing a 5th cut, you have to do it from 3x in a row max
