India should acquire as many number of good fighter jets (indigenous and imported) and ammunition to create sufficient number of squadron to guard it's own border and also to dominate South China Sea, Afganisthan and Gulf area including Turkey. Similar for Navy as well.
India should must phase out obsolete fighters like Mig 21 immediately, which has long surpassed it's utility. One of the alternative is Tejas. Since much time, resource & money has been invested in Tejas program, we should must fix it's shortcomings at the earliest. The growing role of modern missiles, India has to decide immediately for a MMRC fighters. It's surprising that while F-16 block 70 is going to be produced in India itself, why not IAF is considering these fighters ?
