If You Stay at the Casa Marina, Don’t Eat There! Here’s Why

If you've followed VFC's Travels for any particular amount of time, then you'll know I like food. And good food. You'll also notice I don't really do negative reviews because everyone has a different palette and I don't like potentially drawing business away from hard-working cooks and restaurant staff.

All that said, the Casa Marina in Key West is one of Hilton's "Luxury' properties and they charge a small fortune to stay and play there, so I felt compelled to say what I gotta say in this video.

I worked at the Casa Marina / Reach Resort for 7 years and now I’m an annual patron so i can tell you definitively to skip their on property restaurants as there are far better options in Key West for less money. It is essentially a bait & switch scam with beautiful property and sub par overpriced food. Also the restaurant kitchen at Four Marlins smells like a$$ 🫢

@chrisa5613 hi! So I’ve never stayed there since I live here. They have just finished a lot of renovations which should make the rooms a lot better than what they were, rooms were quite dated. The hotel grounds are fabulous tho and the staff is great! You’ll enjoy it!
