    Sir David Attenborough was possibly the one single man who changed my entire life without knowing. It’s because of him I’m devoting my life to wildlife and my love of wildlife really developed through him. Planet earth was an absolute life changing documentary for me and my life will never be the same. Thank you sir.

    Whenever I see Sir David, it just immediately brings tears in my eyes. What a man! W h a t a M a n !!! He is literally a treasure in human form. When I was watching the painted wolves episode from Dynasties and in the end saw Sir David giving his closing remarks, you can see his age on him, struggling to stand, withered look.. but the pure and raw passion in his eyes and the tone of his speech tells you how he loves what he does and does very well. The man is in his nineties, has pace maker fitted in 2013 and that hasn't stopped him (and may god bless him with more wonderful years) in carrying on doing the right thing, the thing that we need to see the most nowadays. The things that show you how precious our mother earth is to us and how fragile her state is right now. Being the only intelligent species capable to change things Sir Davids directions mark the charted path to save the only planet we call HOME!

    I absolutely adore this man and all his work ever since I was a teenager, now, I´m 54. We must not forget all people surrounding him, just look at he photo in every shot! Makes the rest of us feel a bit embarrassed whenever we try to take one single picture of an animal without succeeding the slightest in comparison.

    Every year BBC's natural history unit sets the new benchmark in the field of nature documentaries! My only complaint? A Shame that the Blurays only feature 1080i instead of 1080p videos (given the fact that they switched to 4K recording when filming The Hunt and Life Story), probably just to increase the added value of 4K Blurays. Be better, BBC, people who make the effort of purchasing your Blurays deserve the 1080p.

    • @geordiewalker2102
      @geordiewalker2102 5 років тому +1

      1080p is not necessarily better than 1080i, usually the BBC's 1080i blu rays are better than discovery channel 1080p blu rays of the same programs. The p can sometimes stand for placebo.

      That the idiot brigades outweigh the people interested in HQ nature documentaries by at least 5 to 1 has always been this way.
