in today's repair we have an iPhone 7 Model A1770 intel baseband version with no service (no modem firmware) and the device came for another service shop so the device is F*** and we are going to try to fix it.

What heat and airflow did you use to put chip back on and for how long did you heat it please ?
It depends how much is the soldering paste temperature if it’s 183c you can use very low temperature it depends on every hot air station in my case I’m using 264c to remove the chip with air 68 and to solder a new one with the soldering paste I’m using 252c air 68

Hi! I do have 2 iPhone 7 intel version and on both of them I did replace bbpm ic and perfectly reballing the baseband cpu but it still no service no imei also dfu restores didn’t help! Any suggestions?! Regards mick

Antoine Kiriaky both of them just lost the firmware first of them after waterdamage and bbpm Chip replaced it worked after some time stopped to see firmware the second one did replaced bbpm and reballing bb cpu nothing more I couldn’t do even fixed audio ic weak pads! My question; where should I check for the important voltages! Thanks friend
I see now if you checked all the voltages on the BBPMU and also In diode mode and if you checked all the pads and voltages on Baseband for the water damage it’s hard to say especially if it’s strong liquid damage but for the one try to check GSMPA_RF it’s the 2G ic I guess because it’s very rare for intel models to have a failure transceivers but also check and also have a look at the low and medium band ic’s and see if there is connection between LATCP_RF - UATCP_RF
