I grew up in the area and would love to move back to Massachusetts, Fitchburg would be the top of my list, perfect size, crime is honestly low, anyone who says otherwise is ignoring statistics, and the cost of living is affordable (in terms if new England average its low) cities the size of Fitchburg or larger in Pennsylvania where i have lived for the last 13 years, those are pretty rough.
You sure do get around, that’s for sure haha... Ah, Fitchburg... Brockton in the woods haha.. We used to pheasant hunt out there decades ago... wasn’t nearly the dump it is today.. Gardener went south too.. I don’t recall exactly what made those towns go to shit, but I remember that a few businesses that carried those communities closed.. the furniture manufacturers were one of them and had a big impact... We used to go to Fitchburg State college once in a while for parties, and that was always fun hahaha... Wasn’t the uppity type of school back then as I recall.. might be now though the way most colleges are run today.. too bad cause that town could’ve been much better given it used to be a suburb in the woods for the most part back in the day... I really enjoy these videos, but it’s sad to see what has become of the places that I remember that at one time we’re really nice or not nearly like what they are today.. The change that some places have gone through is unbelievable, and unpredictable by most accounts..
Glad you liked it! In some of these areas I am seeing money being poured in to help the community, but yes there is a lot of blight. Will be dropping more content

@@mikemartin5909 yeah i agree, tho fitchburg is still kinda grimy in certain parts it's crime and alot of the area surrounding it (and parts of it too) are starting to see major improvements, especially towards leominster.
