    Dude transition is a huge weakness of mine but I'm slowly getting into it. This is a dream trick for sure, this and blunt fakie. Watched both of your trick tips and am excited to give them a shot, love the way you broke both of these tricks down dude, you deserve way more subs, can't wait to see more! 💯👊

      Thanks so much for the kind words. I don't really care about number of subscribers as much as I do just helping people out by sharing what I've learned. Appreciate you

    Nice break down! It totally makes sense and you make it look so easy I want to try it. I had a feeble fakie at one time but lost it ... thanks!

      Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it! The feeble fakie is similar, you could get that back for sure and then you got this trick! Let me know how it goes.

    imo when people talk about variations that help learning a mini trick i find they’re harder than just trying the trick. like for instance blunt to rock fakie is harder for me than just doing a blunt fakie & feels like i’m gonna snap my board in half because of how much pressure there is when i’m popping/coming back in. same w axle stall fakie it just seems harder since both trucks are on the coping instead of one on pivot fakies, feels less natural haha. anyway appreciate the tips! my only problem is being scared of having to manual out of it😭

    Great trick tip, thanks! I do bs pivot fakie but i powerslide back into the ramp. Feels less sketchy, but i feel like its not the proper way.

      Thanks man! I understand what you mean. Just slowly work on getting more on top and rolling back in. It will eventually become less scary. 👊🤙

      @@jjreed77 finally got em man. What helped me is actually setting up in a feeble and then going in fakie front there. It gave me a little more leverage. But got used to the motion enough now I got pivot and 5-0 grind back to fakie. Stoked !

    So wait maybe I missed it but how much are you pressing down on the toe side of the tail when you come back in?

      @jjreed77  3 роки тому

    • @jjreed77

      Enough pressure to allow the heel side wheel to roll over the coping easily.

    Hey Jesse, thanks for the tip, this trick is such a mind trip for me, I have landed it once in a blue moon but no consistency yet, can usually get feeble to fakie but find it hard to transition from the 5-0 stall to fakie, any suggestions or ways to practice the kick turn rewind part - heel to toe part

    • @jjreed77
      @jjreed77  3 роки тому +1

      Yes it is a mental one for sure. A good way to practice the heel to toe part is to do pivot to rock fakies. Do these until you get very quick and comfortable with it. Practice doing the rock Fakie as quickly as possible. Then transition to no rock, just straight in! You got this!!

      @@jjreed77 thanks bro, mind if ask around how much it cost you? I’m looking to build one in my backyard too but trying to figure out a good budget for it.

    • @jjreed77
      @jjreed77  3 роки тому

      It cost around 5k. The top
      Surface is the most important/expensive component. Mine is gator skins and I highly recommend. About $140 per 4x8 sheet. Well worth the cost due to how weather resistant it is. Not to mention it's surface is perfectly designed for skating, just the right amount of grip and slide-ability.
