Carnival does well with “fast food” options but does not do a great job with sit down dining. We sailed on the Mardi Gras in November and while the fast food was good the dining room and buffet were terrible. I’m not a fast food eater, I only eat fast food when we are on the road and 7 days of fast food was way too much. I think it gets good food reviews from those that eat fats food a lot and people that don’t usually do fine dining. We cruised recently with Celebrity and it’s our new favourite. The food was amazing, even the buffet was better than Carnivals dining room food and the whole cruise,one is just so much classier.

Carnival puts Princess to shame especially with their food.....The Celebration should be next so you can compare the two.....Mardi Gras seems like the favorite ship among people.....I really liked the Splendor through the Panama Canal......Come to the West Coast and do the Panorama before she leaves...........But anyway for us foodies how was the food other then what was the food.....
