This game was really different when it came out.
Good atmosphere and animation considering it was released in 1983. I played it and played it for hours.
Durell released some good titles back in the 80's eh?
I used to play this for hours! Deep in the passages under the sea. Always felt scary!
one of the coolest games ever, I remember feeling a true sense of dread in the very deep caverns

Good music and playing. I was never much good so it's nice to see what I missed. Never could manage to collect pearls. Always went straight for the octopus.
The basic finesse of this era of games was astounding BUT not surprising. Basic but TIGHT and so enigmatic.
For a ZX spectrum the music is excellent it has to be said
Beautiful. Ambient music is perfect. Video of Scuba DIve gameplay is perfect. It is mesmerizing and i love to watch it. Definitely one of the best videos i encountered by sheer accident on youtube, ever. Thank you !
...and one year later nothing changed. My older son also loves it. We always play it - the diver - and calm ourselves down after long trip or exhausting shopping ;)...
God I loved this game! Really captured the imagination and can remember the emotions if fear and wonder the deeper you went, it all felt so real and mysterious. Still looks great tbh, going to have to play this again on my Speccy Next when I get it.
Still looks good and playable. The graphics are embossed on my mind from all those years ago
In-game music was better than I rememebered. Anyway, I loved this game.
The music has been added in this video. There was no in game music. And speccy couldn’t play like this

are there any other older games like this? I remember playing one when I was very young, I just remember the diver was larger and the thing on the side had an inventory. nice video eitherway, it looks like a cool game

lol same here, btw this was one of my top favourite games - big problem was, that I had very hard time finding exactly THiS game on my messy cassetes :) same as I had problems finding Dun Darach or some other great games

Hmm.. I can't remember this music. And Shazam can't find it either. So, this music just not exist.
No music in this game.
Was never any good at this game and might explain why I am scared of the sea. the animation on all the undersea creature's still looks fantastic even now.
