I really liked the performance and I have a comment about it to. Waltz No. 2 is just that - a waltz. I felt the performance was rushed. If I were on the dance floor with a beautiful woman dancing to this interpretation of Shostakovich, we would not have been able to keep up with him. In a nutshell - slow down a bit.
A bit to quick for my taste :) and I'd prefer more register change between part 1.1 and 1.2. - this music is getting repetitive pretty quick (is what I learned by leaning it - I picked up the accordion for it :D )
This is a waltz. Why is it moving so fast, almost the speed of polka? I can’t imagine men and women in long dresses galloping through it in this tempo. Also, the second repeat of the main theme is done by other instruments and the versions that I’ve seen play it in octaves versus single notes, vis-a-vis a simple repeat of the main theme. Finally, the end of the waltz (before the double repeat of the main theme) is done in variations . There are instruments in the orchestra that deliver that in the background and brining it to the front would make the waltz more interesting (right now, it’s rather circular, and please forgive me, in parts, boring.) There are better arrangements of this waltz available for the accordion. Great talent, excellent skill, and with a few tweaks this would truly be truly an astonishingly beautiful performance.

I’m sorry for bringing this up but “marching through” this with about 175-180 bpm makes it Montmartre French taste. Ever considered a 150-155bpm ?
this is a nice performance, but i don't appreciate that we consider Shostakovich just for this waltz, he wrote some other beautiful music
He ends up falling into the same valley that Maurice revels with the bolero song
This isn't even my favorite piece by Shostakovich, his 10th Symphony is though.
