Thank you very much what a great design idea, i've been searching for a feeding station idea recently this is the one i will be going with,i've been putting out specialist hedgehog food for about a week now at night and in the morning theres the cleanest food bowl you've ever seen not realising the neighbourhood cats are having a right feast, they probably can't believe my ignorance,i've only just discovered hedgehog's so its all a bit new, anyway thanks again for the help
This one is the best one so far, . Great design thank you, how much Hay do I put in the Hedgehog House I put together, the photo of it are on my channel, can someone please take a look and let me know thanks
The general rule is to just add a thick layer of straw or hay on the floor of the sleeping space in your hedgehog house and squash it down. It's more for insulation and the hedgehogs will build their own nest on that. You can leave tubs of straw and dry leaves out if you want to help them too- especially as it's been so wet. There will be a shortage of dry nesting material at the moment.

Please check the food. Hedgehog food is not regulated and I used that, too. But mealworms are dangerous and peanuts have no nutritional valid to them.

They do not eat slugs and snails. They would not starve if they did.
