- I decide to test how well my riding skills are for only riding on the road 2 other times so far by taking my motorcycle to a rave!
Gear:
🏍️ 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500
📸 DJI Osmo Action 4 (With ND Filter)
🎙️ DJI Wireless Mic 1 - with DJI Lav Mic
📱(Mount): Quadlock Fork Stem Mount
The Sound is good and the Camera Position ,Stay Save 😌
Thanks! Definitely want to make sure audio is great! Im trying to get multiple camera positions setup but we will see how that goes!
Super excited to get this as my first bike in a few weeks.
If you do i suggest looking at the SE model (comes with TFT Display and USB Port already installed) Also do a little research on some other bikes in the same range! Make sure its something you really want! Love this bike though!
Honestly bro start on a bicycle, same concept, I rode bicycles all the time when I was younger so getting on a motorcycle was pretty easy for me
You mean pedal bycile ??! Cause i been riding those forever even in dirt trails etc
@@Mxlch999kinda I rode a moped since 14 so I got really good at maneuvering and doing skills on my bike
I get my first bike this Saturday
YOOOO LETS GOOOO!!! Are you excited? and do you have any experience with bikes or manual vehicles at all?
Is ninja 500 is your fist bike?
Yea its my first Street bike. I used to ride dirt bikes like very SLIGHTLY.
ride safe my friend, I started on a Moto Guzzi V7, 750cc vtwin, then after 6500 miles I got a 2011 Concours 14 beast. Then Honda VTX 1800, Triumph Trophy SE.. current ride is 2004 Vulcan 2000, big comfy cruiser. always be scanning roads, driveways and anticipating cars actions.. stay out of blind spots.
After that 6500 did you sell or just buy a second bike? I dont know if ill sell this bike but I feel like everyone says that and sells their first bike haha. I am always trying to stay scanning and anticipating! still making mistakes ofc but we learning every ride!
@@Raevinh well I'm 6'2 and a heavyweight so I was already too big for the V7, cool bikes but small. I wanted to be smart and not get too much at first.
I grew up on dirt bikes and 4 wheelers, 3 wheelers but never a street bike. The Concours 14 was incredible, I beat a Dodge Viper on that thing doing 150 ish, and put 1200 miles on it one weekend, about 25k miles over two years. I think most of us riders will go from sport, to cruiser, standard or sport touring to figure out what we like best.
When I started riding on the street, I would scan google maps and make a mental note of my ride.. I would go out further and further each time, and sort of get lost and find my way home. I learned how to ride on the street in Portland OR in 2016 lots of nice riding out there. I rode to Mt hood and to Astoria where they filmed the Goonies movie.
@@Tyler2Wheel That is exactly what I did with this bike. Its small but perfect size to start imo on street bikes. I also have a little bit of dirt bike background!
I feel you on the maps though! I try and have a small idea of where to go but then i like taking random detours and getting lost to the point where i need to use maps to get back home haha!
@@Raevinh yeah thats fun and helps you to learn your area and multiple ways to get home. I just popped my windshield off and my kawasaki feels like a road king now but man the wind pulls hard at 80mph
are you recording audio through the cardo or something else ?
@dpowpenny5074 Im recording onto the DJI Wireless Mic 1. I use it just as an audio recorder and sync the files in post!
@@Raevinh aww I see. Thank u
This is going to be me in a month or so lmao. I get my '24 ninja 500 se on tuesday and I'm going to do the recommended break in period
Definitely do the SE! I didnt but its still an AMAZING bike! I rode around 35 and under basically and just the parkinglot for the first 300ish miles and now I kinda just send it haha!
@@Raevinh I'm excited for the SE. I already put a deposit on it so the dealer is holding it for me so I can get it tuesday when I'm off work for the week. super excited to start riding
Good job brother!!! I just got my ninja 500 a couple weeks ago!!! Will be riding this Saturday for my third ride ever!!!! Hella Fun!!!!! #2WheelsDown!!! Stay Safe!!!
Nice viewership, brother.
We have the same camera. I am using a wired mic, though.
The mic sounds good, though the bike is almost inaudible. Not sure if that is your objective.
Keep it up. :)
The DJI action 4 is sooo good! I think the ace pro is just ass good or even slightly better now that it can connect to your comms device! Im still learning my audio and how I want it!
And my bike is pretty quiet with it being fully stock. I do want to eventually get more sound out of it in my videos
@Raevinh You will likely need another audio mechanism, whether it be another wireless, or some people do separate audio recorders. Starts making post-production a pain in the ass LOL.
I'm keeping mine simple for now. One cam, one mic, done.
Sounds great, great angle, I just bought a 2024 ninja 500 KRT se last week can’t wait to pick up this week
AHHHHH you will love it as long as you arent one of the people who only care about speed!!!
mabye you should switch from pov sometimes so we can also see the road if your going fast but we can also see you if your just talking: btw love your mic its so good
I need to get a new helmet unfortunately. This helmet doesnt allow a camera to be mounted cause the plastic doesnt let any adhesive or JB -Weld to stick on... Eventually ill have that though!
You in the springs ?, I just got a 500 too we should ride sometimes
I am! do you got instagram? @Raevinh is mine if you want to message me there! Always looking for people to ride with
Don’t look at the camera ; eyes on the road at all times, and let the camera pick you up
Do you have an exhaust on it yet? Im getting this bike in november gonna upload my 2 hour trip on the highway home 😭😭
In this video no but I do have one now! Got me a Leo Vinci
YO THE GIYU HAORIE I LOVE IT!
I need to get the Wind Hashira one because it be fucking windyyyy on the bike
Big Chillin
We BIG chillinnn 😂
I’m trynna cop that Yamaha 2024 R3
I'm thinking of getting this but what's the insurance like? i keep getting quotes online for 2400 or higher for a year which seems high even for someone that's never ridden. I'm also 38 which seems like an old man like me should get some kind of senior discount.
I pay like $80 a month! and im 25 so! and thats full coverage so if you dont ride often you could not do full coverage and have it cheaper but i dont think 80 is bad
I’m in NOCO. I need a new hobby so I was thinking of getting my bikers license and was looking into the Ninja 650 as my first motorcycle. I don’t have any experience at all either
650 is perfect to start on in my opinion! As much as I love my 500 ive reached the limits of what I can do on the streets with it. Im just getting better at each thing now. Like cornering at fast speeds ofc can work on that more but just a tad more acceleration ability would be nice on the highways!
great video subbing
I appreciate you!!!
Going to go get um "stuff" 😊
IYKYK :) Wasnt for me tho - had to ride home the same night hahah
How does it handle the highway for you? I plan on taking a 190 mile trip soon.
Its honestly perfect on the highway but if its windy you might get pushed around a little!
Heyo love the vid!, I'm looking to get a Quad lock as well but I'm not sure which one to get because of the lip for the forkstem can you recommend one? or should I just wait until I get the bike in my hands before I shop for one? I also am getting my first bike! and it's the Ninja 500 SE!
If you are getting the 500 SE i recommend the Forkstem mount! thats what im using and have the ninja 500
@@Raevinh awesome does it matter the size of the fork stem? They were telling me if it had a lip of some sort.
@@saeedesau6738 if you purchase the forkstem kit it will be the right size!
Where you got your hoodie at?
It’s sick af
The hoodie is from Civil Regime but the multicolor piece on top is just something from an anime! its like a kimono!
Zip your jacket, homie.
Its not a jacket, its a Haori! (basically the top of a kimono) it doesnt have a belt or zip! its super thin material as an accent outfit piece
