This game has such a great style, and the animations are probably the best in-game rendered cutscenes we've ever had. The characters just look so expressive and alive when animated like this.

Cream is the fifth true member of the main sonic cast as I see it.
Cream is my favourite character after Amy and Silver. So I'm glad she's getting spotlight again, seemed like they were trying to erase her a while back.

Love how confident Tails is, really proves he’s grown since Frontiers. To be fair though, every character’s personality has been done really well.
Oh man it's was a long time ago since adventure 2 and Tails was downgraded in Sonic Forces and he again become better. I'm sure he will coward again

Okay, I’d love if Sega makes the next sonic game similarly like this.
Basically you can choose a multitude of characters, and aren’t forced to play as all of them. Each of them have a small little cutscene for the bosses and a little unique dialogue at the start of the level
Wasn’t this a thing with when S3&K and S2&K ? That was kinda 😅 ( exept some Zones weren’t exclusive unless using cheats to select zone )

Tails not using his Tails for his running animation is so cursed...
He does do for his boosting animation but yeah, it is weird to see him just sort of jogging when you’re out of boost

He can run up to 100 mph with out using his tails, possibly even more, so it's not really that surprising.

@zigzagintrusion I mean that's fine, but I do think you're in the minority there lol I just dont like it when a characters voice is changed drastically. Some good examples of that in the sonic franchise being the removal of jason griffith as sonic and knuckles voice in the sonic movie.
@@codysvlogdays Yeah, her voice did change big time, but I think I’ve just come to accept her newer register. With Iris Elba as Knuckles, I initially really hated it, but when I actually saw the movie, I ended up thinking he sounded fine as the live-action counterpart (don’t want to see him sound like that in the games though lol). I’m excited to see if Rouge’s voice will change *again* in the movie.
Now that I think about it, it feels like Sonic team is always randomly changing the characters’ voice directions. Playing Adventure and Adventure 2, it’s crazy how different Amy’s voice is now.
I love how they actually bring back Sonic's longer spikes, reminds me alot of Sonic Unleashed which is genuinely cool
The complete playthrough is uploading, but most likely won't be out today. It will even include post game content / all acts. Figured I'd upload this today in the meantime. You get to pick between two characters every boss, which results in different intros. Pretty neat addition. Really been digging the game as a whole. It sort of feels like a more Adventure take on Frontiers Cyberspace stages. Game handles really well overall.
I know Frontiers is still the best sonic game in the whole franchise

I can't even remember the last time Rouge or Cream were playable outside of the various mobile games, I hope the cast continues to come back for other games too.
I'm gonna be honest, it feels like a true blessing and dream (No pun intended) come true to see Sonic's friends playable again after so long!
Maybe SEGA is finally learning to ignore what the negative game reviewers said about Sonic's friends and are willing to let them have some spotlight again. 🎉

Her lines and delivery were good and you can tell the actor is trying but it's not her . I don't know why they didn't just hire the same actress they had in prime
The voices felt a little lackluster on some parts, but it was overall a great game, always beating forces somehow, even if it doesn’t take much to beat forces
And yet they still managed to get a real close second with Sonic Superstars.

the only voice i think was "lackluster" was honestly just rouge's voice, like no offense to the voice actor, they definitely delivered, but she sounds a little too high pitched and young for rouge

I played this game, and it was awesome and so much fun to play! Sega's next game should be exactly like this with a story like this one! New characters, bosses, and challenges!
It's a pretty great Game, the Two biggest Issues with it though are the Fact it's only Available on Apple Arcade and certain Members of the changed Female Voice Cast - Cream's Voice is a little too high-pitched and squealy (don't get me started on Cheese!), and Rouge has gone from a Seductive Phantom Thief to...
...well, the only way I can think of to describe it is - they Turned her into a KAREN!

@@nanobyte7654 More the Generic Style, she used her Attractive Appearance and Seductive Speaking to coax Valuables from others without having to harm them, but if that didn't work she was skilled in Fighting as well. She was never heavily Sexualised In-Game or In-Show - that was done by the Fanbase - so I don't see why SEGA would have to make such a huge change to her Personality in Dream Team...
Idk why you’re complaining all of the characters voice actors are the same. Rouge and Cream have have these voices since 2010

Rouge's Game VA might have gotten to Act _a few times,_ but only in very Minor roles when given - it's only been TV Media she's had Voice Roles in predominantly, and they use different VAs for those usually...
Still, it's *Rouge's Portrayal in her Vocal Behaviour* that I was mainly critiquing here, as the Vocal Tones _lean her heavily into_ *_'that'_* _sort of Personality,_ which is Way Off from every other Iteration of Rouge's Character!
Poor Cream's been *in nearly Zero Games in those 13 Years,* and only now has had her First Vocal Role since _Sonic Generations!_ And Cheese *hasn't had a New Voice Clip since Sonic Heroes,* but was known to *_NOT have a Voice like THAT..._*

I'll admit, I didn't expect Rouge's voice, i was hoping to hear Sonic X Rouge, i think it fits her better than the high pitch, but overall the game is good!! The animations aswell, a shame it's unavailable on Android😢
they forgot to animate facial expressions for Cheese... he looked kinda creepy in the cutscene
I feel like the last scene with cream and tails is a reference to the true ending of sonic advance 3 were cream finds gemerl and tails fixes him up for her

I'm so glad that Cream the Rabbit 🐇 is a playable character ✨she deserve it🌟. I can't remember the last time she was a playable character in a sonic game.
If I'm not mistaken, the last game where she was playable was Sonic Advance 3 (around 2008-2010, I guess).

I'm still bummed that they didn't include Shadow, so they only had Rouge of Team Dark. It would make the game's roster so much better. Also, Nightmare Eggman would be a cool boss if his form were in Sonic Frontiers in a Cyberspace stage in any kind of way.

Imagine the next Sonic Dream Team sequel being meeting Nights in a another kind of Dream realm besides Ariem place ? And maybe having enemies of heroes itself and imagine Sonic trying to fight monster chili dogs , Amy VS Metal Sonic and some go on
This game feels you play best sonic game ever like quality is high and new character ariem and forgotten character cream

How did we go from Rouge’s VA in Sonic X, to this? Honestly, I think they would’ve been far better off if they used Rouge’s VA from Sonic Prime instead
Look, I think the best of these 4 bosses was the 3rd, 2nd would be the crab, 3rd would be the 2nd Boss and lastly the Eggman, literally it's just a phase that you run through, but I found it very interesting that the characters have their own scenes in the bosses, And at least they are expressive

Sounds too Betty Boop if you ask me. Karen Straussman was better when she was in Generations and Forces. As soon she returned in Team Racing and this, the directors’ have really dropped the ball on that one.

They are allergic to putting Silver, Blaze or Shadow as playable in games.....But Sonic and Knuckles are like.... Goku and Vegeta rivals since their saga appearing in damn near every game......so....Understandable.....
Shadow too violent to be in a Dream place , Silver and Blaze would be too op and prob finish the story in few min 😅

For Silver and Blaze to appear, they need a pretext for temporal/dimensional travel, this is very difficult and even boring to do regularly.
As for Shadow, then we would need to have 1 more Fly character and also another Power character. Probably that's why Cream and Rouge are finally playable again.
@@pablozanoto5801not to mention Rouge can be either a power or fly type character depending on the game. Yet if rumors of Adventure remakes are true it would make sense for Rouge to have her original Skillet.
It’s kinda hard to randomly put Blaze and Silver somewhere.The situation needs to be tailored towards them for an appearance and frankly that gets boring 🤷♀️

Sonic isn't his own guy anymore, everyone has the boost and homing attack now so Sonic is just the speed with nothing else in this game.
Him and Amy are the only ones who have the Light Speed ability (Don’t remember exactly what it’s called, but it basically lets you ride across rings)

It really does feel like through all portrayals of sonic, be it show, game or movie, they’re bringing back all the friends in the best way. Its really nice they added that line.
