First as we enter the cabin you will need to insert your cabin room card to turn on the lights. Next an explanation of the controls for DND(Do Not Disturb) and Make up Room along with the Thermostat. Let's step into the bathroom for a detail description.
So if you have more than 4 passengers and need more room there's a connecting small cabin 11001(Sleeps 2) with a bathroom... Need more space, there's another connecting Family Ocean View Cabin 11002(Sleeps 4) Then you will have the Super Family Cabin(11003, 11001, 11002) Sleeps 10.
Checkout closets(seems small) and the shelves. A very comfortable bed, and the reading lights work great as a little night light for not disturbing anyone one located on each side of the bed.
Bunkbeds accommodate most children and most adults, each have a night light with a USB charging port.
We especially chose this forward Ocean View cabin for our view of the Ocean Cay Lighthouse at Lighthouse Bay on MSC’s private island.(We highly recommend a cruise to Ocean Cay, Bahamas).

Thanks for the video. Question, is the TV on a mount where you can tilt it to be seen by someone on the King bed or is it basically positioned only for visibility by the kids on the bunk bed? Thank you
Thank you for Watching & Commenting. The TV swiveled out but not very much, and I couldn’t see while laying back in bed. I sat or laid at the foot of the bed. I don’t believe all TV are stuck in position like this one. I did see one on anther room, turned towards the bed. I do believe it would be very difficult to see.
Very detailed and nice video! I and my 1yo will be this ship on the 1st cruise out of NYC next month. I tried to book a family cabin but it doesn’t show online, do you have to call customer service for this? Is there a significant price difference to this and a regular ocean view?
We book through our Travel Advisor/Agent… I told what cabin room I wanted. I do believe this was a Premium Ocean View- $$ a little more for the size. But for a family would be worth it. But the price difference was not much.

@@cynthiaconnell190 There was a small stool. I think in one our other vlogs from this cruise you can see it. My wife worked at the vanity area on her computer. I’ll try to add a link here for that vlog. We sat on the bed of course.
I would prefer at least a chair, but the stool was fine for us.

Secret bunk beds!? 🤩
Yes, very roomy
We have this cabin booked on the 10th deck. We normally try to get more of a center ship room location but the bunk beds seem like such a convenience with our two boys. Was the motion of the ship much worse in these rooms compared to center ship locations?
On this particular sailing, we never felt any motion. Sometimes it can be the weather related or the time of year that you are sailing. We believe sailing in the Atlantic waters are rougher than the Bahamas or Caribbean waters. We also normally book mid-ship. Thank you so much for Watching & Commenting.

Hey what's the noise level like in that room? From nearby elevators, or anything else.
We heard nothing during our cruise, and I don't think we even heard anyone in the hallway walking by our cabin door. This was working trip for my wife, and she spent hours in the cabin. She doesn't recall any noises. Thank you for Watching & Commenting. Enjoy your Cruise & Safe Travels.

@@jeffreycicero6685 No, Motion from the ocean on our cruise. But we've always heard the same as you... Up & Down Forward & Aft(rear). Take few dramamine with you or try those "Patches". We've never needed any so far. That cabin was so nice, even for just 2 of us. TIP: If you need to go to the Aft of the ship use your cabin deck or there are certain decks that run from front to back. 🙂

@@jeffreycicero6685 1st off if you got the drink package(Alcohol). Be sure to get a Purple Rain. Also go do the Thermal Spa at the spa. The Edge Bar makes some great coffee very early. Also a great place to people watch, hangout and get a drink. Go do the “Silent Party”, also if are gonna do a specialty restaurant($$) we recommend Hola Taco’s Cantina(Lunch or Dinner) and go there with an empty tummy. The Solarium pool & area one of our favorites.(less crowded and noise) We have a lot of other vlogs of Meraviglia. We’ve sailed it twice now. I have 2 Playlist about Meraviglia. That is a Studio room for solo cruisers. It can't be used as extra space, you would still have to book that cabin.

This is not the studio cabin. The studio cabin is smaller and only has a couch that turns into a single bed.

The MSC bathrooms in the Meriviglia may not be luxury, per se, but they’re much better than the bathrooms and some older carnival ships like the valor
