I’ve been a Kingler praiser since the start. I used Kingler in a deck in a tournament and got 5th place. My deck that I used him in is the ultimate Coinflip deck.
Marowak Pros: - No RNG in energy attach - 140 HP avoids some breakpoints vs Kingler's 120 HP - Not weak to a common deck archetype in Pikachu - Retreats for 1 energy vs Kingler's 3 Kingler Pros: - Single Point Pokemon - Can be faster to set up if RNG aligns - Can't do literally nothing like Marowak can - Basic stage can actually advance the game state and doesn't immediately die to Basic killers. Personal opinion? Neither of these are for me, but if I had to choose one I'd probably use Marowak, just because I'd hate to have my crab stuck in the active while my opponent sets up

Kingler is such a good budget card. Literally carried me to 100% completing the solo battles as a FTP player.
How many ex cards do you have? I’m f2p right now too trying to compare if I’m just really lucky with my pulls

Better Marowak? Speaking solely on basically the same attack and not an EX.
Like with Misty, we can activate faster than Maro
You should not consider Misty for your average game. I agree that Kingler's attack is good though, but 3 energy attack and retreat is a huge downside
Marowak gets the bonus damage on a single coin flip rather than 2, and misty doesn't help enough for 3 energy to be better than 2
@@Siennarchistmarrowak needs 2 coin flips. Kingler is guaranteed 80 marrowak can do 0 damage
