Beautiful work but it seems very complicated when we have lightweight servos and things like arduino or raspberry pi. This is not intended as a criticism by any means.

It's just personal preference. I do not like "black boxes" like arduino or raspberry pi. I like working with and seeing motors and gears and things that are actually functioning. If you look at any of my animations, you're likely to see "complicated" mechanisms, but no "black boxes."

I certainly take your point. You do some amazing work. I have been a fan for many years. You must have a fantastic mind to be able to put it all together, and then be dissatisfied and redo the project.
