This is an excellent way to look at the fret board !! Thank you so much , it is really important to differentiate shapes from musical phrases or licks .it’s easy to get stuck in boxes as a beginner ! I remember that happened to me when I first learnt Scales! I think you explained it all really well!! Thank you very much ! I am already taking lessons but regardless I wanted to say that your videos help me , so thank you very much for your hard work !!

I know this might sound a bit advanced but I would love to see a video on how to add arpeggios to your pentatonic shapes in the way you were doing towards the end of the video :)! Just an idea !
