Rex will most likely go back to corusant by the end of season 7 remember Rex in rebels never said he defected from the empire he said he was retired which means he still served in the imperial military until the kamino rebellion and the JF clones were decommissioned/discharged and Rex did kill all the clones outside the room he and ahsoka were in so all the clones on board their ship do not know that Rex is "not carrying out 66" i believe Rex will go back to the republic now the galactic empire and he will regain command of the 501st until Sidious shows the 501st their "new" general and that is the very first time darth vader will ever make his very first known appearance to anyone bar sidious of which Rex will immediately grow suspicious of the "new general" by recognizing his tactics in warfare.
Charlie Douglas that’s the sad part at the end of the clone wars show, that final scene showed the clones being buried by ahsoka and rex, the only people to respect them, but by the time vader had arrived, all but one helmet were buried under the snow and ice. the clones were forgotten.
The way that the council treated Ahsoka especially Mace lead to their final undoing in my opinion. This was their last chance to stop being blinded by their arrogance and they failed. Getting what they deserved in the end.
It's funny, because Rex never said Anakin and Vader in the same sentence. In fact, he most likely believed the Empire propaganda about Anakin - that he died guarding the temple
Theoretically Rex could have been there to watch Anakin be put on the pyre. Part of me hopes he did for closure but I also know how saddened he’d be to have to say goodbye to another friend
I really want to see how Commando Gregor meets up with Rex. Considering he was left for dead by R2's droid group. Maybe he lands Coruscant in a ship and is like "Yo wtf is happening?"
Maybe one reason we don't see Rex during the original trilogy is that due to his age/accelerated aging he is off-screen training rebel soldiers, infantry, commandos, special operations soldiers, etc. But in Return of the Jedi, this is a do-or-die operation, so EVERYONE is called into front line service, especially crack/elite soldiers like Rex.
@@dianalopez130 he was the equivalent of an adult as of the start of the clone wars and the battle of Endor was close to 30 years later. He would easily be physically in his 60s
I kind of like to think maybe Ahsoka felt Anakin's passing and realized somehow he had returned to the Light. After secretly making her way to Endor, she quietly pulls Rex aside and explains what happened to Anakin. Hiding in the distance as Luke lights the funeral pyre, they privately grieve and bid goodbye to their friend.
Was he not the one leading the clones into the room to gun down Ahsoka after she jumped onto the holo table? He will probably take command of the clones and hunt down Ahsoka and Rex.
After all this the question of how Anakin skywalker joined the dark side so easily keels coming to mind He was strong willed, had high resolve, was cunning, determined, yet he was convinced to join the dark side almost without hesitation. He even had the power to even kill the sith lord right then and there. By joining the dark side he would abandon everything and everyone he knew which is still a much harder path than resisting the dark side. He left Ahsoka, Rex, Obi wan, The entirety of the jedi, and even has to kill younglings now. But without this we would not have such a great season 7 XD
ArnoldXD he wad trying to save padme, he was going to betray and kill sidious after he find out how to save her. If he wasn’t so tied up in the head about padme he would of let mace finish sidious off. In revenge of the sith Anakin told Padme he was going to overthrow sidious
Windu held her relationship with Anakin against her! Because of this, Mace is as much to blame for their fate as Ahsoka not telling them what Maul said! But you can’t really blame Ahsoka because of what they’d done to her &, like u said, Maces reaction to her only reinforces her distrust of the order!
Johnny Branscomb Also ahsoka knows how an accusation can ruin ones reputation and their status as a jedi. So why would she believe a Sith Lord like maul. Anakin had faith in her when she got accused so if she were to tell the council, that would mean she didn’t have faith in her master. And mace did have a contribution in the matter as well.
Personally I think the Jedi should've realized the clones were bad news the moment the Pikes betrayed Tyranus' name. Remember what Jango said: "I was recruited by a man called Tyranus on one of the moons of Bogden." Obi-wan remembered in that instant, but said nothing.
Seeing as how Han said he put the strike team together for Endor, and Rex is on the strike team, we know Rex knew Han. If Rex knew Han, it stands to reason he was introduced to the command team for that mission. So it follows at some point, at least very near the battle of Endor, Rex would have been introduced to Luke. At that point he has to start making some connections. "Luke Skywalker you say? Huh, ya know, I knew another Skywalker. Cunning warrior, powerful Jedi, one hell of a fighter pilot. You um, you kinda resemble him a bit actually. Oh my, look at the time, I have got to go load some, uhhh, ehhh, power converters, yeah that's it. Oh hi R2. Wait, R2?!? Ok, yeah, power converters."
I‘d like to see an alternate universe by Filoni, where Ahsoka saves it all by telling the Jedi council after she caught Maul. Also, Ahsoka talking to Anakin (and eventually saving him). I believe Windu is to blame, for being too arrogant.
I remember having a book about the Imperial forces as a kid which mentioned Vader's troops "The 501st legion", so that name for them in our real history predates the Clone Wars series. So that means that during the events of any newer lore, Darth Vader's personal battalion, while also being called Vader's Fist, was still known as the 501st legion. This is relevant once Rex chooses to fight alongside the rebel alliance because there were active protocols for any eventuality where Vader appeared during a mission (I do not know for sure if these existed before the Battle of Yavin and they were ignored to destroy the Death Star, or if they were formed afterwards because of how influential he was in that battle even if he failed to stop them). But at LEAST by the time of the Battle of Endor, the Rebels would have had their protocols in place, any protocols involving Vader would likely also involve the 501st's involvement because of their skill and ability to aid Vader in thwarting rebel plans. Therefore Rex would at SOME point, regardless of hypothetical interaction with Ahsoka after her being pulled through time, have heard that the 501st was under the direction of a force user, he likely would have at least had his suspicions. If at any point he saw holotapes of Vader in action, he likely would have recognized the shoulder armor as more evidence that Vader was Anakin- and if the tapes showed him using his lightsaber he may plausibly even have recognized that. These are all completely hypothetical situations, but still on the likely side of plausible. Even if by all these chances he DIDN'T figure it out before he participated in the Battle of Endor, he likely would have heard the name "General Skywalker" during either briefings, or during the celebration afterwards and figured a LOT out from there or probably having conversations with Anakin's children who now both knew who they were in relation to Vader. What I am having trouble tracking down is a solid answer of if this battalion of Vader's Fist was present at all during the Battle of Endor, and if any of them were still clones considering Rex's advanced age at the time. A bunch of aging bodies in the crappy stormtrooper armor just doesn't seem like it would work out too well. But it would have made the battle SO MUCH more enthralling to watch again- especially with new information and details- if the battalion sent to capture the rebels WAS the 501st, if they WERE still even partially made up of clones, and what they would do if they recognized Rex.
Can we please go back to calling him Captain Rex? It's not that he's not worthy to be a Commander (obviously since he deserved it from the start) it's just the fact that "Captain'' sounds better. I mean our decision to keep calling him Captain might be the same as the Clones' decision to keep calling Ahsoka Commander. It just sticks.
@cyber soul I think that's why he never got that rank, commanders are supposed to actually fight in the back lines kinda like Admirals on a Starfighter battle. I think he always refused that rank because he was better at fighting on the front lines as a soldier.
I'm not entirely sure that Ahsoka never fully left the Jedi at heart. But yes it was nice that Yoda called her Padawan. I think though it was a way to show her that she was still welcome back in the Jedi.
I low-key suspect Yoda wanted to 1. apologize personally to Ahsoka for the whole expulsion fiasco and 2. tell Ahsoka what the Council suspected, Windu be damned.
I'm really curious about how Wolffe will become aware of the chip, but I thought Gregor, as a commando, had independent thinking and could choose wether to follow order 66 or not? Maybe I'm thinking of legends, but idk. Also, wasnt kix already a popsicle by this time?
You know, after Endor, I really wonder if Rex and Luke sat down, and Rex told him all about his papy. I would actually sit through 2 hours of that. ALL THE POPCORN
One thing I wana see is a episode or comic about Rex when he is at endor with the rebel squad but from his perspective and what his thoughts where during the battle?
Idk I think mace did wanna tell Ashoka then he looked at the other Jedi and realized he said too much and then said what he said. But mace Is easily top 2 pettiest characters in all of Star Wars lmfao
I don’t think Mace was being smug towards Ahsoka. I believe he more or less was saying, “hey you wanna know what we are doing...be a Jedi.” I think he views her as a valued member of the Jedi order...
Yeah but it's not up to Windu who is a jedi and who isn't. It's the force that determines that. I think that's what's meant by "arrogance" The jedi order at the time was essentially a club assembled together by people. Ashoka doesn't need the order to tell her she's a Jedi.
I think Rex knew Palpatine’s secret identity all along. When Palpatine order Rex to execute Order 66 Rex WAS THE ONLY ONE who replied “Yes, Lord Sidious” and not as “Yes my Lord”. Also if you watch season 4 and 5 we can see that Rex was often escorting Palpy to his quarters possibly Rex might’ve found out about Palpatine’s identity there and then and thus was “pretending” to be Jedi’s friend while still remembering who he truly served.
This is BS. If Rex was a traitor why would he join Luke in Ep6? Why would he team up with Ahsoka in Rebels? Rex calls him Sidious because the chip identifies him as Sidious.
crust junkie nah it was inevitable anakin Skywaller and mace Widu could have killed Dark Sidous but anakin wasn’t thinking straight with the reality of the situation (the chancellor being the Emperor)
@@sbattle9298 Had Windu trusted him, none of these would happen. Palpatine got to play with Anakin because the rest were not so kind to him, even Yoda was a bit arrogant at the end.

Would of been great if Ahsoka saved her whole platoon of clones and have her own small clone army to fight against the storm troopers! Seeing clones fight for their old republic and storm troopers battle for the empire would be epic!
I think Dave Filoni is going to change the way we view Ahsoka's thoughts on Anakin being Darth Vader. We now know that Ahsoka sensed Anakin betray Mace Windu and join Palpatine so what if she believed Anakin died by sensing him being burned alive on Mustufar which is why she didn't believe Darth Vader and Anakin were the same person?!

Jessie would be in command of Ahsoka's forces then yes. Appo was with Vader.
How right you was
Michael Kean nah, no way Rex would go back to the work for the empire, are you mad? Plus the Kaminoan rebellion isn’t canon anymore
Trips me out Rex is the connection between Ahsoka and Luke. Yet they never meet. And barely know of each other
When you realize the clones fought for nothing...all of those losses for what?
Charlie Douglas for the Empire.
Charlie Douglas that’s the sad part at the end of the clone wars show, that final scene showed the clones being buried by ahsoka and rex, the only people to respect them, but by the time vader had arrived, all but one helmet were buried under the snow and ice. the clones were forgotten.
Windu did more to push Anakin to the dark side than Palps did
kinda true XDD
The way that the council treated Ahsoka especially Mace lead to their final undoing in my opinion. This was their last chance to stop being blinded by their arrogance and they failed. Getting what they deserved in the end.
I'm kind of sad that next week is the final episode
Car Car Binks last week? These one more episode next week
@@Brycinmcintyre Sorry meant next week
Car Car Binks well, we will be waiting for Star Wars day. May the Fourth be with you both.

Jar Jar Binks: “Mesa meant next week. Oops.”
It's funny, because Rex never said Anakin and Vader in the same sentence. In fact, he most likely believed the Empire propaganda about Anakin - that he died guarding the temple
I honestly don’t know what to expect from the finale because my expectations have been blown out of the water every episode
Oh how the mighty Jedi have fallen

Murican Manatee snickles and cries
Cade Bane but your dead
No I’m not
Your name is spelled wrong, it’s spelled Cad Bane there is no e in Cad
Since Rex survives past Ep6, Ezra saves Ahsoka, she admits Vader was her master, he knew that Anakin was her master. Ezra could’ve told Rex
"I would like to thank ct 5555"
*good soldiers follow orders*
Maybe one reason we don't see Rex during the original trilogy is that due to his age/accelerated aging he is off-screen training rebel soldiers, infantry, commandos, special operations soldiers, etc. But in Return of the Jedi, this is a do-or-die operation, so EVERYONE is called into front line service, especially crack/elite soldiers like Rex.
Rex was in the live action of Return of the Jedi. He is the old white bearded rebel soldier that went to Endor with the infiltration team. Its canon!
@@HarrisonBV yes I know, that's why I stated above.
@@dianalopez130 I think it's their whole life.
Hopefully we will get more Jesse in this next episode and figure out what happens to him.
Was he not the one leading the clones into the room to gun down Ahsoka after she jumped onto the holo table? He will probably take command of the clones and hunt down Ahsoka and Rex.
Gerardo Alvarado yeah he was in rex’s briefing once she jumped up and escaped and after ran down the hallway but that was it
Earl Lee 😳🥺
I wanna see Wolffe and Gregor meet up with Rex.
Leslie Strouse yeah me too
Unless I missed something, I don't believe Maul said anything about Palpatine being Sidious.
After all this the question of how Anakin skywalker joined the dark side so easily keels coming to mind
He was strong willed, had high resolve, was cunning, determined, yet he was convinced to join the dark side almost without hesitation.
There's still a lot to flesh out for Rex & Ahsoka.
‘And i tried my best to keep that trust’
The reason of anakin turned is because Star Wars comics called him a padawan instead of a Jedi master 😂😂😂😂
Johnny Branscomb
Also ahsoka knows how an accusation can ruin ones reputation and their status as a jedi. So why would she believe a Sith Lord like maul. Anakin had faith in her when she got accused so if she were to tell the council, that would mean she didn’t have faith in her master. And mace did have a contribution in the matter as well.
Rex-“see I didn’t betray my Jedi “
In the memory of all the Jedi that we lost and always remember there will always be in our heart and May the force be with you always.
It’s not mace windu’s fault Jedi were lead by a code and the movie directors didn’t have any other way to do it
Personally I think the Jedi should've realized the clones were bad news the moment the Pikes betrayed Tyranus' name.
Ultimately yoda was to blame he’s the boss.
Rex's Loved ones Death
Clone Wars:Fives
Rebels:Gregor
Return Of The Jedi:Soldiers On Endor Maybe It Might Be Him
What happened to Wolffe
@Austine Good Question he might of stayed in That Clone At-At
I remember having a book about the Imperial forces as a kid which mentioned Vader's troops "The 501st legion", so that name for them in our real history predates the Clone Wars series.

Hi Love your channel
This old dude who was just an extra, is now one of the biggest characters in ROTJ. I hope his family get some royalties 😂
I'm really curious about how Wolffe will become aware of the chip, but I thought Gregor, as a commando, had independent thinking and could choose wether to follow order 66 or not? Maybe I'm thinking of legends, but idk.
Also, wasnt kix already a popsicle by this time?
Idk but in legends arcs null arcs and commandos were too independent
Perhaps his memory loss from the crash affected the chip inside his head

Who the hell is more petty than Mace?
Cyber Leader 16-914 lmao idk he’s top 2 though I’m not very versed in the deeper lore I thought there could possibly be someone worse
Ah yes, Commander Rex ya know who Commander Rex is?
I've only heard of Captain Rex.
