BikemanforU would pull you up on those references to "blowing up" tyres. It's inflating, unless you're sending a coded message: "there is a bomb in the rear tyre of one of the folding bicycles".
As a "Rainy Dane" I actually haven't had a puncture on my Brompton, also because of a limited use, I suppose, but I do think it is possible to change the inside of the valve, maybe to a longer version? Finn' Denmark
Hi Andrew, so was there no evidence of damage to the tyre/tube? Seeing your Brompton upside down I notice that you haven't cut your rear mudguard to stop it touching the triangle. Another Brompton you tuber recommends doing this as it fouls on the triangle, takes off the paint and collects mud, etc causing corrosion. Any thoughts on this mod Andrew?
That could be why I think my track pump is useless, maybe not the pump just the different length valves, thanks for pointing this out
