Y'know, I'm father to a (intelligent, pretty, sweet, very chill...) teenage daughter,
& when other unmistakable signs of physical maturing told me that she was edging closer & closer to this phase of her life - I'm the one who took responsibility to kindly, gently, privately have *"the talk"* with her.
Step-by-step, personal - but not *too* personal, matter-of-fact but not detached.
I recognize that it is a reality/inevitability for most, and I'm waaay past acting like either a smirking, IRL version of Beavis or B*tthead, or a dad too sheepish to go down "that aisle" in the store to buy "those" products for his daughter's sake.
All that said, this experience is not shameful, nor abnormal, but I believe it should properly be kept as private as humanly possible.
It should not be performed on the side of a well-traveled road in view of passing vehicles, & as the subject of cellphone camera video to be uploaded & shared.
Propriety and self respect appear to have been discarded in favor of internet attention and notoriety at any cost.

Yeah, I understand that she’s trying to normalize it to say that you shouldn’t be embarrassed about it, but you can do that in different ways. This is unnecessary. Kids are on UA-cam shorts and they’ll see this randomly not that it’s not OK for them to know this, but it’s just kind of inappropriate that she showing that.

Why are y’all acting like posting this kind of stuff is normal. If a girl posted herself peeing outside with her pants down I KNOW LIKE I KNOW the reactions would’ve been different. Some people don’t realize even if you don't get caught, indecent exposure laws typically focus on the potential to offend or disrupt others, not necessarily whether someone actually witnessed the act. The key is that you knowingly exposed yourself in a public place where there was a chance someone could see you.

@AkumulsBored if they’re older than 13 I think they’re old enough to know what a period is, normalising stuff like this is important especially for teens, I started watching this channel when I was 14 I found it very educational and for the record I got my first period when I was 11 I could’ve used vids like this a lot earlier, if younger kids see this and aren’t mature enough to understand it, I personally blame the parents
@@AkumuIsBored actually I would want teens to see this. To realize that this is normal! Women sometimes have to change their pad/tampon in a unideal situation and that is totally okay. I hate the “Kids, the kids, what ever will we do with the children, their poor eyes” as an excuse for bad parenting. Kids should be on kids UA-cam. Fuck kids shouldn’t even have any form of social media. Teens need to learn about this stuff. If their parents don’t want them to, then they are free to control what their child watches. Kids are not an excuse for everything.
