- Hey guys! First edit of 2019 how exciting! Of course, we had to kick it off with Kara and Alex because they're amazing.
How about 4x10 that was some intense stuff, Supergirl has been killing it this season and I'm loving this storyline! I've been super ill recently, I'm just getting over a chest infection which I've had to take antibiotics for, and let me tell you I felt awful but it's just clearing up now and I'm feeling a lot more myself.
We want to dedicate this edit to Karen who suggested this song to us. I can never promise I'll make edits with song suggestions but this one fit perfectly considering the situation. (Plus Nikki wouldn't let me edit with the other choice.)

I’m sobbing 😭 that scene broke my heart to pieces and this video shattered those pieces even further because it drove it home even deeper just how precious their bond is, just how much being sisters mean to them, their whole existence is about being there for their sibling.. and now to loose such a vital piece of that relationship..:.. wow I’m just speechless 😶

There's no rational explanation for my love for this relationship. It's purely a result of the emotional pull that these two are able to evoke each time they're on the screen together. You do such a nice job of capturing that emotion. Thanks for sharing it with us.

That's what are Alex and Kara to each other and any one can't say the opposite. The thing with Kara I love the most is that she cares so much about everything and everyone and I love all of her personality that is what makes her Kara and how big her heart is and sometimes she is really funny too and when ever she really love someone she really do it very hard specially when it comes to her sister Alex

I was in tears, thx I'm now an emotional wreck!?! 😭 This is one of my favourite songs and Supergirl is my favourite tv series. I love their bond, I have two younger sisters and I would love to establish a bond as beautiful and as strong as that! I hope that Alex's mind wipe isn't permanent but since it's CW there is very little chance of this being easy. I'd say that she will be against aliens and even give Hailey a run for her money. 💰 I loved that last scence it is just so funny and always makes the show slightly less serious and more bearable. 4x10 was such a sad episode. Supergirl lost so much and then she lost her sister. They love making her suffer. I was so sad when Alex had to forget Kara. I'm glad it didn't last that long and Alex got her memories back. I love their dynamic as sisters so much. They are the true meaning of sisterly love.
The only reason I’ve stuck with Supergirl after the pilot is this relationship (well, I was also hooked by Cat Grant in the pilot). As an older sister myself, I’ve always felt connected to Alex, and now that they’ve lost such a huge part of their sisterhood, I am sooo sad. I hope Alex gets her memories back, but I am also moved by her willingness to help Kara by volunteering to be mind wiped.
I'm totally with you on that. Kara and Alex's dynamic is what always brings me back to the show. I miss Cat a lot though!

Omg I hate and love you at the same time!! I just cried😭😭 I love them so much and now they’re basically taking that away. Like Kara said what is she without her? Yeah she may be the girl of steel but Alex is what makes her not bend. She’s what keeps her strong. Like in the promo there’s going to be consequences because Alex needs to know that Kara is supergirl. Kara is also what keeps Alex strong and makes her do her job.
Hahahaha, I can live with that! I think they're going to be on a tough road for a while but they always get through hurdles in the end.

Season 5 had next to nothing for Kara and Alex. I was truly disappointed with it hence why I haven't really edited much Supergirl.

But that platonic theme is also present in the "Thor" movies between him and Loki, in a lot of ways, hey, they might've watched those and seen similar affection between the characters and themselves.
There's also the same element of sibling affection in the new K. White novel "Slayer" between Artemis and Nina, in a lot of ways they're outstanding siblings, so there most certainly is hope and allies of ours in the literary world regarding cultivating platonic as the ultimate value.
This is the one I was long-time looking for of your works, but I didn't think it right to ask you, no, I elected to man up and do my research, and low and behold, I ran across it.

I think Alex is such an important aspect of Kara's life that losing a person who knows her that well and not being able to share her whole being with her is what's going to be the hardest part for her.
