Jack’s delivery at 2:52 is extremely comedic for me. There is something about that ramp up to slightly dry match result announcement that made me laugh a lot.
Got a NJPW World subscription to see the Omega/Ospreay match, it was definitely worth it! Ospreay was a fantastic babyface after the DDT on the exposed turnbuckle, there were so many big moves I gasped a lot during the match (the One Winged Angel into a german suplex from the top being the best example for me). Early MOTY candidate imo, excited to see if a rematch happens later this year and Omega's ladder match on Dynamite next week!
Watched the whole show live at Tokyo Dome yesterday. The Omega Ospreay match was fucking insaaane and should’ve main evented the show. Everyone was dead by the time Okada faced Jay White. For my first time watching wrestling live, it’s a 10/10. Even got a selfie with TJP and Akira

It was the nice to hear the Japanese crowd cheer again, The mainevents delivered and I'm looking forward to L.I.J vs KONGO, Shingo vs Okada, The women's division growing, The United Empire vs The Elite, TMDK causing havoc, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year. Best part of Wrestle Kingdom 2023: Kenny Omega vs Will Osperay, not only the REAL main event of WK but also the first official contender for Best Match of 2023👍 Worst Part of Wrestle Kingdom 2023: Okada wins The IWGP World Championship.....AGAIN👎 Huge respect & thanks to the legendary Keiji "Great Muta" Mutoh. A true legend of Pro Wrestling. Wish I could've seen Mutoh compete just once in WWE similar to how Jushin Thunder Liger made a special appearance at an NXT Takeover event but hopefully Triple H puts Mutoh in The WWE Hall of Fame sooner rather than later. The tribute to NJPW founder & Pro Wrestling legend Antonio Inoki was also nice. One of the most influential & at times divisive figures in the sport, his impact upon not only Japanese Pro Wrestling but all of Pro Wrestling overall is undeniable. His fight with Muhammad Ali was crazy. RIP Antonio Inoki, the father of NJPW🙏

Yeah I really started believing in the underdog win for Wato. But these past few months he’s grown a lot and this was a true coming out party for him. I'm not shocked about the lack of a reaction from the NPJW crowd where just because you have a name already doesn't necessarily make you great in the promotion. Plus I have never ever understood the sheep that follow her because someone else told them she was "a boss" I've never understood her gimmick, I understand that that's the character she has chosen as the most that resembles the way in which she perceives herself but she's tiny, kinda annoying and granted her fans (of whom there a lot of fiscal fans or a lot of kids) they suggest she's great when imo in WWE I always saw her as a Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Selina Vega type.. Small girls who you could give them a short stint just to have the title change hands to catter to the fans who say it's boring watching the likes of Rhea, Charlotte, Becky (ugh!) Ronda (more ugh) even Rodriguez when she gets some personality, there's so many female's that again imo opinion I would think before Mercede's. Sorry too many words but yeah, I never understood what people saw in her.
Also japanese crowds haven't had WWE on tv in YEARS so they literally have no clue who Mercedes is. I agree it was lack luster but I fully believe everything is lack luster in Japan because yea the crowds are huge but the fans are silent even when they are allowed to cheer. Most I heard all night was for omega and osprey and even then they were only loud when something happened where it looked like someone's career ended. I don't know why for the life of me anyone would WANT to go in front of a crowd like that. Omega should head to AAA and win the mega
It's because over in Japan they take pro wrestling much more seriously than other places in the world, the fans are known for being more quiet than average, but it's their way of showing respect to the performers.
People are sleeping on how big of a moment it is with Sasha appearing. This could be a memorable moment for future generations of fans. cross brand promotion of a top female wrestler with (hollywood name recognition) switching companies brings alot of eyes on the product!
I swear every Kenny Omega match (unless it's against someone serious like Bryan Danielson) is a video game battle. No selling, flips, too many false finishes and infinite finishers. Calling him the best wrestler is like saying the Harlem Globetrotters are the best basketball team.
Just watched it. The match between tamu and kairi showed how trash the western female wrestling is. Tamus selling was on of the best i have seen in a long time ragardless of gender. They put on a great match....aaaaaaand in comes the botch queen.....looking weird, horrible music, botched move and mega cringe promo. WHY? Because she is related to snoop? Get outta here!
Okada wins lol
As he should
they booked Okada as champ
realised they messed up
and said we’ll have a night 2 so Jay can win it back😂 surely
So "the boss" up and leaves wwe and ends up opening the doors to NJPW
I swear every Kenny Omega match (unless it's against someone serious like Bryan Danielson) is a video game battle. No selling, flips, too many false finishes and infinite finishers. Calling him the best wrestler is like saying the Harlem Globetrotters are the best basketball team.
First
Just watched it.
And of course the "who can me more dramatic and reckless" contest between olivier and the flipping banshee.
nah....
Why the hell would a Japanese crowd care about Sasha banks lmao not everything is about things you're familiar with
Why do so many people think Japan is ignorant of WWE lol
@@jerrym2135 nobody thinks they're ignorant, you're just fucking illiterate lmao
The more I think about this, the dumber it is. Like someone who only watches wwe couldn't even imagine people not caring about WWE wrestlers unless they were ignorant of them altogether. You people are such fucking clowns lmao not everyone cares about your bad soap opera
Sabre never held a singles belt in NJPW before tonight. He took his rev pro world and tag titles there a bunch and the rev pro title was defended there as well.
Two things this is why they should bring back the intercontinental championship belt and I wouldn't be surprised to see szj when either the never Open championship or the US championship in the near future
Bro night 2 is 3 weeks away.
Always a new british guy it seems in these videos. Are these guys actually on WWE payroll at all?
if they were on WWE payroll why would they be reviewing a NJPW show
When is night 2?
